Josh, in your very first videos you've mentioned channel order had to be TAER. I use OpenTX FrSky with channel order AETR. Is it possible to configure the board using the configurator so I'm able to use AETR because the way it is shipped I had to specifically rewrite my transmitters firmware to TAER and now I can't use that radio for any of my other models. It's annoying having to have one radio programmed for the Aura and another for all my other models.
I'm using the aura on my a10 it doesn't have a rudder..in the setup there isn't one for that configuration. So is there a video on how to setup my dx6e for use with the differential thrust function of the aura..thanks
The Aura 5 requires the use of a serial RX connection. For Spektrum, this means a remote receiver, or a receiver with SRXL capability. The AR620 is not capable of SRXL. The Aura 8 however, has enough ports to do a PWM connection where you can absolutely use an AR620.
@@michaellawson2194 No problem. Its primarily a limitation of the number of ports available. With serial connections (like Spektrum SRXL or a Remote), the Aura gets all of your transmitter's channels through a single cable. If you don't use a serial connection, then you have to run male to male jumpers from the receiver to the Aura. Aileron to S1, Elevator to S2, Rudder to S3, Gear (CH5) to S4, then you're left with only 1 port available for a servo output. This is why its possible with the Aura 8 (S1-S4 = from RX to Aura & S5-S8 = from Aura to Servos), but not the Aura 5.
@@FlexInnovations I tried to bind to my DX9 using an old SPM 4647 receiver that I had lying around and could not get the FT Aura 5 to bind so I went out and bought a new SPM 9745 receiver and still having a bind problem. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or my Aura 5 is defective. I really wanted this to work because it is so much easier to program than the AS3X receivers. Please help me.
1 aileron means that it’s on a y harness the only difference is that you can control them individually but most likely you won’t need to and it saves a channel
