Thank you for doing these instructional videos. The demonstration presents more nuance in the function of these products that i didn't realize at first while reading the product page. At first i discounted the use of the icevents on a duty belt because i figured the only way to use them was by interrupting the loop surface, being able to put them inside the inner belt on the pants is actually genius. Thank you!
I cant believe this is three years old. I have a military/range belt its more so a military belt due to the manucature is contracted through the special operations community. I love the belt its super nice and its really sturdy, however, I've found that i do not like inner belts at all doffing on and off is very annoying, not only due to the velcro that's not the annoying part whats really annoying is that by continuance use the velcro will wear out overtime. So I've been looking for shopping around for "belt pads" as they call it, the two I'm looking into is the blue alpha and yours. On picture they look really well padded and to me since they have a cooling feature looked like or reminded me of those gel ice packs in away. Looking at the video it's quite thin compared to whats shown in the picture, just want to know if the pad is thicker than most on the market or its standard. Could I use the vented pads without the hook and loop or I have to, if i have e to can I weave it through molle to hold more secure?
We released ICEVENTS® Classic on Thanksgiving Week of 2018. Since then, we've had a number of other companies attempt to copy our ICEVENTS® tech, all unsuccessfully. Blue Alpha released their pads in 2023, so we'll let you draw your own conclusions. As for thickness, our pads are slightly thiner than the rest on the market, but we have the exact dimensions can be found on our ICEVENTS® Aero High Mobility Ventilated gun Belt Pads product page here: www.qoreperformance.com/collections/duty-belt/products/icevents-combo-3pack This article from our INSIGHTS blog has more of these comparison details on plate carrier shoulder pads, but it will give you additional context for our high tech ICEVENTS® solution vs. the standard stuff found in the rest of the market: www.qoreperformance.com/blogs/military-insights/what-makes-a-great-plate-carrier-shoulder-pad-for-military-and-law-enforcement-users?_pos=11&_sid=232d75195&_ss=r Yes, you can run ICEVENTS® without the Velcro OneWrap. See 3:05 in the video above. We hope this helps, but please let us know if you have any additional questions. #StayFrosty
@@QorePerformanceUSAThanks for the inflation given, clear thing up for me. I do know the pads come in q pack of three, and the belt I have is velcro all the way around will the pads cover up the velcro all the way or I will need to buy additional and cut them to cover the velcro?
Compare the ICEVENTS® dims to that of your belt and you'll be good to go. If you need to order extra ICEVENTS® for additional coverage, just use the ICEVENTS® Headband SKU for additional pads.
Great question. While IceVents were designed from the ground up to provide ventilation and load distribution, it would be disingenuous to say we aimed to solve back and hip pain specifically. That said, we can say that many customers have reported IceVents solving back and hip issues for them. You can read these testimonials in the customer reviews on the product page for both IceVents Aero and IceVents Classic Duty Belt 3-Packs.
Yes, you can absolutely cut/trim IceVents to fit your needs. The only thing to keep in mind is that you’ll lose the smooth edge finish that we put on them, but they will still work 100% as designed. The trimming/edge finish is purely aesthetic.
Yes - IceVents Classic Duty Belt Pads are universal thanks to the included OneWrap: www.qoreperformance.com/collections/icevents-kits/products/icevents-classic-3-pack Hope that helps, but let us know if you have any additional questions. #StayFrosty
Great question! BLUF: I would have killed for this when I was on the job (left in 2015 to start Qore Performance). Tyler and I both wear these on our belts all the time and wouldn't rock a duty belt now without them. We wouldn't sell them if they weren't something we wanted for ourselves while on duty. Hope that helps, but hit us up if you have any other questions: Info [at] Qore Performance [dot] com. #StayFrosty
I’ve got the Kore Micro Battle Belt with an inner and outer belt system. If I ran this in between the inner and outer belt would it still have enough retention?
We have tons of customers who run this exact format on duty, so it does have plenty of retention for most applications. Here is a video we did with one of our SWAT customers showing exactly that setup: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-16bOzna1aCo.html Hope that helps, but let us know if you have any additional questions. #StayFrosty
