You need a fake rock at bottom with holes for fish to have a place to hide. But looks good. I have a turtle and going to build a top piece for my tank like you did.

Beautiful turtle! I used to have a male Red eared slider now I have an adorable female baby painted turtle. I'm looking for a 75 gallon permanent home for her to grow up in. Turtles are a very fun hobby and enjoyable to watch. 🐢💕

You can seal those tank with some aquarium silicone. The way to do it is with the tank full of water. Aquarium silicone is made of Vinegar and non toxic. You find the leak, clean off any loose silicone and put it where you want it. The water pressure forces it into the crack and stops it. I owned a pet store for years, it works great.

by some marine silicon sealant, it is safe for aquatic life, once cured, needs to be applied to inside of dry clean tank at joint, turtle may have to live in plastic container of water for a few days, do you happen to a tote lol

Do you have foam under the tank? Some people put tanks straight down onto stands, you need foam to stop the joints from parting. I am sure you know this though, others wont.

Yes there is some aquarium silicon that he could add to it and it will seal it up. He needs to drain it then let it dry reseal EVERY bit of the aquarium and let it dry then carefully refill the aquarium. He can also do that to the large aquarium. The bigger the tank the bigger the turtle. lol Oh and please take the scissors to the dead ends of the plant by the tank. As Tammy says they will really take off then.

Keeping wild fish is good as long as your sure your not holding any of your state gamefish then fish and wildlife get involved when trying to domesticate wild caught state gamefish needing a license to fish for, I used to work at a huge private aquarium/fish store I managed the fresh and saltwater tanks you’d be surprised at some of the legal issues customers have been thru just because they caught something from the local lake/river and find out it’s not legal to keep in a aquarium.
