Thanks for the video! This helps. I'm running 3-32 inch 1440p 165 hz and 1 27 inch up top 720p I think. Running a 3080ti with i9 processor I usually don't use Nvidia surround for my racing titles, but might have to for American trucking simulator. Nvidia surround is wonky with ACC. Thanks for the help

@@SIMSIMGT I actually got everything setup and running now I think my 1080 was just connected to one monitor and not registering the second HDMI cable

@@SIMSIMGT call me dumb.. But, I've had my 4th monitor sitting their doing nothing for over 10 months.. Went through so many youtube videos. That did not explain anything as crystal clear as you.. So, I just gave up.. Until your vid came across my feed today... You gained all sub just for that... 👍🏻

I appreciate you making this video. I’m about to try your suggestions. My setup is different but it still equals 4 monitors. 49 curved ultra wide, Desk top monitor, Monitor over the 49 And finally the Grid Porsche dash. Which is considered a monitor. I will let you know how it went. Fingers crossed 🤞 🙌🙏🏼🏁

What monitor arm are you using for the top monitor? And what monitor is it? Im using single curbed 34" for sim racing but want the top one to run all of my streaming stuff so i can display one screen without lther stuff showing

If anyone is struggling and cannot select the 4 monitor on nivida but you can see it as an option. The problem is your cable. You NEED to buy another cable for it to work. YOUR WELCOME

This is the first time I'm setting up multiple monitors, I have triples currently, and have wondered about a 4th. Can the 4th not run with on board graphics so there's less strain on the GPU?

I am trying to setup 5th monitor , it says this GPU supports only 4 display. my graphics card is GTX 1650 super. Any solution sir?

Followed your video step for step, but when I go to set up multiple displays in Nvida, I see my 4th monitor but it won’t let me check the box?

@@aveminsight3478 I ended up getting it to work. I first shutdown my computer. I ended up unplugging everything from my graphics card. Making sure my displays were plugged in the way I wanted them to from left to right I have DP spot, Dp spot, HDMI spot, DP spot. My monitors were set up differently than his in the video. Set up with the extra monitor all the way to the left. The extra monitor was my HDMI slot so my 3 DP monitors were what I was using for my 3D surround. So would read from left to right Screen 3, Screen 1, Screen 2, Screen 4. Went into display settings, made sure all the resolutions and HZ were set to the max they offer. Went back into NViDA control, Enbaled surround, clicking monitors 1,2 & 4 as my 3D. Applied it, closed the 3D surround setting, and into NVDIDA set up displays and I was able to check it finally. Moral of this long ass comment, try shutting down/Restarting with your monitors plugged in the way you want them to read from left to right in 3D surround and follow the same steps.

@@iamawesome6462it doesn’t let you select it until you have enabled the surround After you done that and done your bevel correction click apply then go onto the setup multiple display still within the nvidia control panel and tick the fourth monitor and then you can drag it into position and once you click apply again all screen go off and you will be greeted with 4 screens on Do make sure the fourth monitor is still powered on as they do tend to sleep when inactive

same issue, shows my surround display just like in the video but the 4th display is greyed out an cannot click the check box on it to add it. Says surround is enabled

Does anybody know how a fourth monitor affects FPS? I guess you have some FPS drop over your main "surround" window. Am I right?

Of course, also depending on the resolution of your monitors. I believe connecting your fourth monitor to your motherboard might alleviate some of the fps drops (pending you have onboard graphics through your CPU). I have been thinking about doing that on the rig so I’ll try it before the next time I stream.

All my display options are gone no idea why but all was working and now if I try the control panel closes and thats that.

Hmm, have you tried going through the Nvidia Control Panel?

@SIMSIMGT it never liked that it's a TV not a monitor. I'll unplug everything and see if that sorts it out. I hit power off on the TV and screwd it all up.

hello, when i surround 3 monitor then 4th is gonna disconnected. 2:32 i'cant check this, it looks like disabled. Plug in/out its own cable, pressing power button doesnt help.

Yes when you enable Nvidia Surround it will deactivate the 4th monitor. Then you go back to “select Multiple Displays” and then you can check it off and add it to your list of monitors. Join the discord if you still have more questions. Let me know if that fixed your issue. It should work, what type of monitors do you have? Was it working before enabling surround? Have you tried to plug it in the motherboard (unless you’re running a CPU without integrated graphics).

Make sure 4th monitor isnt hooked up by HDMI, for some reason Nividia surround doesn't like that. Once I got a HDMI to DVI adapter for my 4th monitor it allowed me to select it in control panel like in his video. Nothing I did before fixed it

@@SIMSIMGT sorry i was wrong... windows kept disconnecting the 27" 720p on me and the others were set to 1080p.. my bad.. works great now... thank you for the tut
