Towards the end you talked about singling out one girl within the first 20 seconds. That strategy is risky and somewhat flawed as if the girl you single out is not attracted to you or is loyal and has a bf a lot of the time it will be game over because you've put all your eggs in her basket and got rejected in front of the group it can be difficult to then switch on to other girls. No girl wants to feel like second best or a consolidation prize. What I like to do is approach a particular girl but will also include the others too at first. Then I will read the girls and decide which girl seems most into me. If my target seems like she is just token flirting me but another good looking girl in the group seems like she is strongly attracted then i will typically switch targets. On the rare occasion several girls in the group seem strongly attracted to me I will usually ask the girls if they are single and then base my next move from their response. girls with boyfriends are lower probability targets as a lot of girls will flirt outrageously at times but not actually be down to do "anything" because they have a bf.
