www.6figuredog.com We all love our dogs and would hate to see something bad happen to them. Martingale Dog Collars are the safest collar on the market. They don't hurt the dog in anyway and when sized properly they can never slip out of them.

There is lots of conflicting information or poorly presented information about martingale collar sizing out there. Thank you for this clear and useful explanation of how tight the collar sizing should be!

Okay. I got a martingale collar for my escape artistic puppy after watching this video. I absolutely love it she can't get out an it came in handy and saved her life during an emergency! I highly recommend it and approve of martingale dog collars. Thank you for the video.

The kind of martingale collar he has in this video is the best!! The Martingale's that are made with the fabric/nylon at the top,instead of the chain are bad... I noticed that that material at the top does not last well over time. My dog actually slipped out of that kind. It was adjusted properly and not over used... the metal one is just better. The dog will not get out of it.

Agreed. I like to use the most holistic, pain-free approach to dog training and martingales seem to be it. However, there are so many different styles of martingale and some are nicer and more efficient at their job than others. The all nylon ones are not only confusing but they also don’t close properly and distribute the pressure evenly. The chain ones work way better at their job. First instinct of mine was that the all-nylons were nicer but the chain literally doesn’t do anything differently to the dog’s neck pain-wise. It makes it less painful, I think.

Is it supposed to be sized high on the neck (behind the ears or lower in the neck?

Does anyone have any recommendations of the half chain half nylon martingales? I can't find any that don't have cheap metal that turns the dogs fur silver.

Are you seriously trying to get a martingale for a NINE POUND dog? Lmaoooo
@larrysolesbee7295
@larrysolesbee7295 3 года назад
you say it can't choke dog, but then you leave two finger widths between metal d-rings...i'm thinking if pulled hard, the chain pulls the rings together and that chokes the dog
@kweenjade01
@kweenjade01 3 года назад
Yes it's possible. But a pulling dog will choke even more on a regular flat collar so...? As the owner it would be your responsibility to understand and watch your dog.

@@krempel_und_klumpad no I have a puppy we got her at 10 weeks and we use a harness she’s a major puller because the harness encouraged it, might be getting this collar

@@helenhoward2715 your puppy pulls because it´s a puppy. there are ways to teach a puppy to walk on a leash properly and when you are not capable, please look for a better home for that poor dog. never mind, will end up in the shelter in the first year anyways when you already talk so stupid about a puppy...

@@krempel_und_klumpad I wouldn’t of commented that if I hadn’t done leash training with her already. She’s 8 months old now I’ve been leash training her since 4 months and she still persists to pull and no actually I have her for a reason don’t talk shit about her like that, I’ll have you know my dog is the most spoilt dog you would of met, I’ve taught her lots of tricks and I don’t appreciate you saying things like that. And fyi martinagles are safer than the standard flat collar Learn your facts! 😐 go see my Instagram @rosietheminiaturejackrussell you seriously think I’d put her into a shelter after how far I’ve come with her? See how much I spoil her? Eating off quality and expensive dog food, has lots of coats and treats, just actually shut up

@@krempel_und_klumpad and go watch my tik tok @rosie_the_terrierr you’ll see how much training I do with her :/ I do training DAILY a I walk her 3-4 times a day, she gets mental stimulation games every day, I give her sniffing work I’m pretty annoyed about what you said, I seriously don’t appreciate it she’s my dog I took the responsibility and am not planning on giving her away just because some random person on RU-vid told me to when they don’t even know the full story nor know how well I care for my dogs if I was an irresponsible owner my mum wouldn’t of £100+ on medication for when she got kennel cough and mites. She’s better now that was ages ago the vet says she’s super healthy and is very fit so yeah...do you seriously think I’d give my dog away? Especially when I’m planning on doing agility in the future? No. So don’t ever say that again when you don’t know the full story

It's advised not to walk a dog that pulls on a collar like this, teach your dog to walk properly on a normal collar or harness first and then move on to something like this if you still want to.
