In this video I will walk you through the process of how to animate complex smoke simulations inside Blender Skull Chalice Playlist: • Skull Chalice 3D Anima... Instagram: / sab_3d
Super clear - you covered more in 8 minutes than I've seen in 30min+ tutorials, without bogging it down with more technicalities than necessary. Excellent work!
I rarely watch anything but tutorials, documentaries, or nature /animal videos, and I would rate this tutorial in the top 3 I've ever seen. Thank you for sharing.
these are my favorite tutorials. good mic, straight forward, normal listenable music. why is it so hard for some people to understand this is all you need?
Love it when videos don't waste time and just get straight to the point. Every other video just tells me why I would want smoke, like I know what I want just tell me how
God damn, everything about this video hella dope, I could understand even tho I don’t make 3D stuff, have to say you super inspiring! Keep up the good work!
Thank YOU! This is so useful and so easily translated to other smoke sim projects. Really well laid out! Definitely saving this link for future reference
is amazing, I just discovered your art and your channel , love bloodborne, love your work and thaks for showing the process, please, do more o these, I learned a lot
Thank you for the tutorial! I am finding the part at 6:12 a bit hard as I am a blender beginner. Though our color ramp only has blue values, how does the smoke turn green in some parts when we plug that into color? And what does the volume info node do here? Does it make the denser bits of the smoke darker or something??
Um, everything aside, I am often more surprised by how you guys render out so high quality images and animations. Can you make a video on how you do that? Maybe you tweak with the denoiser? Or someother settings like resolution and all? Or it is some aftereffects magic?? Like those details in there are impressive to say the least.
Thank you. What if I don't see the smoke appear when I bake it and when I don't bake it. The cache was on "replay" (also used "modular") and "is resumable". What did I do wrong?
Super late comment, but I remember seeing this model in the bloodborne subreddit! And I was thinking, "Man, that's a pretty cool looking smoke sim" since I never tried anything like this, crazy how I found this years later when trying to actually do a smoke sim myself 😆
