@@patty_mcdee probably because they're not prepared on the second part of H.Typhlosion's raid where it attacks twice. The very reason why we use Manaphy to quickly end the raid before that happens. I do online raids too and it is so chaotic with other players doing their own thing.
The neat thing with Manaphy is due to it really not requiring any item to preform the OHKO, you can get away with a speed dropping nature and Zoom Lense with Hydro Pump as your attacking move instead, leaving you with 2 Fake Tears instead of 3 for the one shot.
I OHKO (60% chance) Hisuian Typhlosion with this build: Manaphy Ability: Hydration Moves: Tail Glow Rain Dance Fake Tears and Weather ball EV Spreads: 252 SpA 252 SpdF 4 HP Hyper train all except Atk Item: Life Orb Order of moves: turn 1 tail glow turn 2 rain dance turn 3 tail glow again turns 4 and 5 fake tears turn 6 weather ball. It should OHKO the Hisuian Typhlosion with one weather ball
I’m confused as to why my the manaphy build is literally impossible, like I always die before I get enough fake tears off and if I use leftovers to survive, he sets up a shield before I can get the attack off
I haven’t had any issues but it may depend on typhlosion move choices. If you turn 0 will-o-wisped then you’re gonna take more from infernal parade, etc
So I found out that if I used max sp def EVs instead of HP, I’d survive better, and I could use rain dance turn 2 and tail glow turn 3, and then only use 2 fake tears id still one shot it :)
Been using Kalosian Goodra ever since I found out Hydration is the solution to the Hisuian Typhlosion problem, as well as the occassional Manaphy as either soloist or support as a local co-op dyad with my brother. Modest Tera Water Kalosian Goodra @ Damp Rock 252 EVs into SpA, 124 EVs into Speed to one up that 226 speed, then the rest to a defensive stat of your choice (HP/SpD) Rest,Rain Dance, Acid Spray, Weather Ball/Scald,Muddy Water Modest Manaphy @ Damp Rock/Light Clay 252 EV into SpA, do whatever you want defensively, but I'll stick to 128 across both defensive stats out of comfort Rest, Rain Dance/Reflect/Light Screen,Tail Glow/Take Heart/Calm Mind/Fake Tears,Scald/Weather Ball
I used Miraidon w/ Zap Plate T1-3 : Parabolic Charge *After reset debuffs* Metal sound until KO'd Revive & 1-2 calm mind Parabolic charge until you win (& tera when possible)
Typhlosion uses a turn 0 will-o-wisp and if you get burnt your physical attack stat will drop by 50%. Also there’s no benefit in using fake tears with azumarill. Azumarill is a physical attacker and fake tears lowers special defense
Isn't it even easier with Dachsbun? You just click Body Press until it dies (using Tera Figthing once the orb is charged) while holding a Metronome. The AI will just spam will-o raising your defense every time for no damage.
Haven’t tried dauschbun, and there’s no value in my video if I just copy another creators strategy. The raid is super easy so a lot of builds are viable
Manaphy's the go-to mon for this raid.🤜🤛 Though online I do see a lot of Dachbuns doing body press to it. It works though... until the second half where H.Typhlosion does attack twice and they get wrecked.
@EastsidedTTV I was in a group with 2 other Dachsbun. I was covering Misty terrain and rain dance for the 3rd. Even with that I had plenty of time to get enough snarls in. Dachsbun, so far, has had the best shot of carrying a team. More experimenting for me tonight though
@@EastsidedTTV yeah. I'm working on cooking something up for when I'm in a group with 3 dachsbuns to speed things up. A very popular RU-vidr just highlighted dachsbun for this event. So I'm expecting a swarm of them.
Hello, i don't know how you made your one shot strat works, but even with exactly you build, your rotation, i get downed or he put shield up before i can attack. But thx for the vidéo !
I’m sorry to hear that! Make sure you’re level 100, hyper trained, etc! It may help if you rain dance on turn 2 to proc your hydration ability quicker to prevent any 2x damage infernal parades.
You can have goodra use weather ball instead of surf for a 100 base power move instead of a 90 move, assuming you have the rain up once the setup is done edit: manaphy can also get weather ball or you could go with a zoom lens + hydro pump combo
buy/borrow Legends Arceus then get to the 3rd island to access Manaphy, but don't forget to bring a Mantyke, Overqwil, & Buizel in your party, transfer it from LA to Home then S/V,and that's what I did with most of the Legendaries from said game as they are now viable to travel with you to Paldea. except for Regigigas for reasons only GameFreak knows.
@@Onlygaming4587 other commenters have mentioned using wide lens item and hydro pump as your damaging move. You only need to fake tears twice so it saves you a turn
that is what im doing but thanks! p.s you should talk about the austin johns dachsbun raid but holding a covert cloak and with the moves body press, and protect so when you lose your ability for one turn because he nulifies the stats you can protect and he cant do much when your tera cause he only does 30 damage an attack with his moves@@EastsidedTTV
