Works. Just did this on my lvl 70 MM. Used my pet-attack exclusively (since otherwise I'd murder the king in a couple of my own shots) to DPS the king down to 80%, tamed Reban, dismissed Reban, and feigned death to reset the encounter. Exit the room, come back in the room, and restart the encounter. The second time around I got Reban #2. Make sure you have 2 open pet slots before you start!
What I love about this video is how terribly I stumbled through it 🤣🤣 it’s so patched together it’s hilarious lol but it gave me a chance to learn some new editing tricks! Great idea on the Clefthoof for that intombing mechanic. I tried it a few months back (no Clefty), and finally had a friend come help. I think I need a second Reban though, so have to try this! Thanks!

Thank you so much for this detailled guide! I was able to tame Reban no problem, and it was even easier than expected! I believe it's very easy if you're above 190 Ilvl, it's probably a joke for those with higher level gear.

Everyone needs to mention that you can't tame, bosses on the way, RE: I tamed the first one that serpent, now stuck doors shut, won't open, isn't reseting.... this isn't the first time I've run into this .... please could Everyone mention which one's that you can't tame as a hunter to be able to make it all the way through .... J.
Managed to kill the embalmer with a spirit beast, you can command it to spirit mend itself from feign death, neat trick if you're like me and were halfway through this when I saw you recommend a clefthoof lol
Hi, watching all the way from Peru. Quick question, you mentioned on a previous video this pet can withstand some effects because it's undead. Could not find any information regarding that anywhere. Even Petopia only shows the skills but no mention of that at all. Could you please maybe make a video testing this or provide sources? Thanks for the content man, great videos.
I found the info in the wow forums, some of this stuff is hard to find. That does sound like a good idea for a video but I'd need a warlock and a priest/pally to help me out... Basically any ability that targets a beast cant be used on undead, and any ability that targets undead cant be used on beasts 🤷♂️ for instance, scare beast won't work on undead pet, but shackle undead will. And vice versa. Also undead are immune to charm/sleep/fear, just like an undead character can use will of the forsaken to escape those CCs

Not sure what I am doing wrong, but I have the talents went BM and even switch my covens conduits. I am Venthyr, but man I cannot get this guy dead. He simply kills my Clefthoof. Closet I got him to was 29%. He basically just mash my clefthoof down, then kills the second pet. Been trying and trying but its just not happening.
Make sure your difficulty is set to normal, and make sure to be lv 60 either ilvl 175ishhh. When I did it the first time I had to wait for my primal rage sedation to go away for every "feign death fight" to make sure I could do as much fucking damage as possible let before I have to feign. Definitely took a few trys
Same way you did for the boss with the "entomb" mechanic. Do as much dmg as possible, hit your offensive cooldowns, and when ur about to die just feign death till your pet gets him low enough

They may have changed the mechanics to tame that dire beast you have shown at 5:42 I tried 4 times on my lvl 55 hunter and there are a lot of mechanics to use and lots of stuff to avoid and you have to use tame super fast or he summons either the beasts or each time i stoood still to tame he threw down a stun effect on me. screw you blizz devs for watching these videos i hope the worst on your careerers.
