Dan, I'm a high school teacher and I'm teaching HOW TO USE THE TELEPHONE!! Thank you for your video, I'm going to share this with my Business & Marketing classes!
I’ve been scared of phone calls ever since a sales person mocked my English over phone (I was 12 and was still learning English). This video was really helpful. Thank you!!
I truly believe that in school we aren't taught all of the necessary things, how to ace a interview, how to write checks, talk on the phone so many things that are necessary for living that we don't know about. Parents don't even teach us, we're just expected to know how to do all of these things.
I dont mean to be so off topic but does someone know a tool to log back into an instagram account? I was dumb forgot my password. I love any tips you can give me
Tip no 1 Call by ist name to catch there attention and build rapport Also repeat their names while conversing 2; pay attention and listen closely not just speaking 3, Ask questions with intent and be in control of the conversation by asking questions
I remember the old saying "we have two ears and only one mouth for a reason"- and talking on the phone in the mirror to make sure my smile is genuine tends to help the other person feel more comfortable.
Hi Dan. I'm a new fan of yours! I definitely agree with your points here. 1. 1st Name 2. Listening 3. Intentional/Leading Questions (conversation control). Really insightful! (applause!).
i searched for videos relating to this topic and couldn't decide on what video to watch and I was hoping that the thumbnail will help but you content is not fully represented by your thumbnail.. beautiful content by the way. thanks'
1.Use the first name, repeat name multiple time. 2.Listening is more important than speaking. 3.Ask good question with intent. Whoever ask good question controls the conversation.
Your efforts are highly appreciated Mr. Dan Lok. I Suggest to cancel the music and choose something more appropriate to the nature of the presentation as it affects the concentration in listening . Thanks in advance
thank you you very much Mr. Dan . you are amazing mentor . your idea helped me lot when it comes to learning sales and marketing. thanks for sharing this kind of valuable content. lots love from Srilanka.......
Dan you are highly successful guy and I show that I respect you by my actions. Just wanted to let you know that I lose focus when you switch from one thing to another. First year teaching us something and then it goes to an ad so I completely lost everything you just said.
Please remove back ground music it’s very much annoying, because of this reason views are less when compared to your other videos. Kindly include the subtitle too👍
Hello sir! I'm a big fan of u for couple of months. And unfortunately I'm very week in English, and I truly believe that struggle can change my thinking, and I'm ready to struggle, pls sir suggest me, what is the right way, I'm shining
Hi Dan. You're the best! Kindly provide tips as well on how to answer the job interview question on how to deal with a difficult person? This question always exist during a job interview. Thanks in advance 😊😊😊
Dan, let's say I'm already successful. You said that a person alone can't make it, and I belive in that. What if the people who are the best from that industry who would possibly mentor me, and would value me the most, have some bad habits like smoking, drinking sometimes, one night relationships or whatever. You said that a person becomes like their friends, or the people who spends the most time with.I'm still young, I have 19 years old.How should I handle this situations?Don't you think succes is dangerous sometimes, and can transform you in a way that you don't want to be?
I enjoyed the tips … but the same way that we need to be in a quiet place while speaking on the phone to prospects . I think the same thing about teaching videos . The background music was loud , too upbeat and definitely distracting. I had to back space the video several times to make sure I heard the teaching tips correctly. Just some constructive feed back but loved most tips Thank you
Outsourced Indians annoy me, too. I usually call for something their automated system can't handle, so what do they do? Read off a script like another automated system. For anything that isn't the "FAQ" stuff, they are just another layer of wasted time.
I used to just hang up if they persisted in a direction that had nothing for me. In my family, oddly enough, usually we don't mention our names...I do use my nephews names, but that's about it. I agree, and I love a good story. If someone calls me I engage in conversation with the intent to be a blessing to the other person. I often succeed in this. Ain't it great?
