I shared a lot of the information I took in here with my wife. I really loved this episode. There is such a significant amount of stress regarding how we spend our money and hearing information like this is a godsend. I've developed a scarcity mindset and hearing this has helped me to better apply growth mindset to my daily life. Hedonic adaption is a very welcome addition to the vocabulary. I have not been one to listen to podcasts or watch streams much, but I have been absolutely obsessed with psychology in my own ways and I am loving listening to this every step of the way. I did not realize premium was so cheap and I'll be signing up for that tomorrow when I'm back at home and have a bit more mental space! Thank you Sam for everything you've put into this. After having a huge fixed-mindset type of scare recently, this podcast is exactly something that I needed to find.
Hi Mr @Sclydin - Thanks so much for this comment and I definitely hear what you're saying. Scarcity is a such a weird feeling that affects us all in different ways. Reminds me that I am due a deep dive on scarcity mindset.. In terms of premium, I wouldn't say premium offers some crazy untold benefits beyond simply not having adverts for now. I'm working on the Discord and having access to AMA each month is cool. My plan is to build out private content over the year and get some deep dives together that will make it a real value add. _(also planning for the Discord to have cool discussions and accountability but needs some users first LOL)_ HOWEVER - I thought it would make sense to offer complete access to premium for free for 6 months simply for leaving a 5 star review on Apple or Spotify. Then I can interact with people as I build the premium offering into something useful and troubleshoot any issues etc.. So if you can shoot me a screenshot of a rating you're in 🙃
