Great tips. The only thing I would add is when it comes to working in a group…I would not say to take charge so much as to help focus or direct the group to the task at hand (safety always first priority) and help facilitate and participate in group communication. Hi there! Great question. Yes, in my class there were 20 in total. About 4 or 5 of those were over the age of 50. Everyone got through just fine except for one, sadly. It is a challenge but something that can be done. The the rest made it through and are now on the line regularly. If you are thinking of doing this yourself don't let age be a reason to NOT do it. There are many very active over 50 that have made this a full career. Hope this helps. Talk soon! :)
