Retail and online arbitrage are a great way to start selling on Amazon FBA. This will help you determine if this business model is one you potentially want to turn into a full time business. Retail and online arbitrage is simply the process of purchasing products from the stores you already shop at, but you're goal is to sell them on Amazon for a profit.
Amazon FBA is a program offered by Amazon that stands for fulfillment by Amazon. They will handle a large portion of the responsibilities of running an ecommerce business. They store products in their warehouses. Pick, pack, and ship those items when customers purchase them. They handle returns and refunds. Plus some amount of customer service.
This means you are left with two main priorities. Administrative work and sourcing product to sell on Amazon. Sourcing product when it comes to arbitrage entails going out shopping and scanning large amounts of products with the Amazon Seller app. This app will help you determine profitability and a rough idea of monthly sales.

Hey, finding good wholesale suppliers is probably the hardest part! I'm still struggling with it. My first recommendation is to find a category you have some knowledge in and really get to know it. Just browse Amazon to see what brands are the best sellers and search for distributors that sell those brands.
