Hi. My personal opinion: 1. I feel a great Step1 score is always the best asset you can have. It depends on program directors what they like. So you don't really know which one is better pass/fail or score. 2. A simple solution I believe is: - Try to aim for Dec 2021and prepare like crazy - Then give NMBEs and UWSA1. - If you feel confident that you will score above a 250 then give it in December. - If you don't feel that you will end up with a relatively high score then go for January 2022. - Score amazing in CK. Either way you need to score high on CK so, plan in that way. Hope it helps :)

Hello Dai, I just completed internship ani I’m in confusion, half of me wants to study for USMLE, half of me Is afraid moreover have self doubts. Also it’s high time I should come to decision whether to study for MLE , Stay Nepal or any other options . Meanwhile I haven’t started to study, I didn’t want to stress myself and that caused me more stress. I don’t have anyone to ask for help or help me with this confusion .

Hey Def Soul. Thanks for reaching out. You are actually at what I call Step "Zero". There are a lot of things to consider while making a decision. A good place go start would be to write down the following things: 1. Do I want I leave my country and my comfort zone to embark on a relatively long journey? 2. Which speciality am I interested in? (Know that all specialties are not easily accessible by IMGs) 3. Can you or your parents finance this journey? (It costs around 12,000-15,000$ at least until matching) 4. Matching is not guaranteed, so can I keep persevering until I match? Am I ready for the long run? 5. Where do you I mysf in 10 years and how likely am I to be happy in the United States? 6. What about other licensing exams like PLAB & AMC, why shouldn't I try those? These are some questions that you can ask yourself. Come up with some answers and think about it. If you make a decision, go full heartedly. I'll be soon making a video about this topic. Also you can message me on Instagram @anrgh. I would suggest to follow your heart. Cheers.
