I’m 27. Together 8 yrs. married 7 yrs. one thing I learned and still believe in is don’t be greedy with the money. I always told my wife that if she wants something really bad, to just get it. Never be greedy with the money it can actually cause a divorce. Don’t be cheap. Women are always gonna buy all these expensive things for them. It’s part of being them. It comes with the package. Lol

In my family, my mom manages the finances while on my husband's family, his dad does it. So when we got together, both of us wanted to take control so we ended up having separate and joint accounts. We also discuss the budget and we always shop together. Then when I want personal stuff, i take it our from my bank account.

I'm married and we don't believe in the "yours mine ours" we just believe in "ours." Discuss even the smallest of things. We're not going to deprive each other if one of us wants a hair cut or an outfit or anything unless it makes sense. If it needs to wait and be done another time, we do it.

I've seen this couple on Maria Kondo tidying show. I am sitting here with my husband going hubby where have we seen this couple? And I am like Maria Kondo. Lovely family. Maria came in and that fixed a lot at their home-organised their home. I see that are going way beyond organising their home to organising their finances. Great!!! That have two kids a boy and a girl with locks like their parents.

I thought this couple looked familiar! They're in an episode with Marie Kondo's Netflix show called Tidying up. I'm glad they asked this question because they moved from a small town to LA to pursue their dreams and with that comes extra costs.

The household budget in my opinion shouldn't be a you or me handle it. We get together as a couple and discuss it until we agree because we both have needs/wants and need to find the balance for those things. Plus we always have some sort of financial goals we need to be aiming for and we can't do any of it if we aren't on the same page.

I just because you see these people on TV looking nice and shiny doesn't mean they have a lot of money there's a lot of nice and shiny people on Section 8 getting food stamps and going to food banks that work low-paying jobs so if she's buying $30 mascara and $30 eyeliner and they don't have any money for gas that makes no sense. You have to live within your means and there's nothing crazy about that mr. Steve Harvey
