I would like to add that if you keep your propane tank outside of the tent in extreme cold weather (like where I am in the Canadian Laurentians) propane turns to liquid at -30 to -40 degrees C and will be useless until warmed up again. Just a heads up if ever anyone runs into that problem in a scary situation! Great video, hope to see many more! Have fun and stay warm! 👌
Hi thanks, yes I’m aware of that it’s a chance I’ve taken previously. This weekend I’m going to be camping in extreme cold so may have to keep tank in tent. Not my usual way to do it but as you said it will not work in extreme cold unless it’s kept above a certain temperature. Thanks for your comment 😁
For the record, any female fitting (internal thread) with a slight perpedicular center line on the corner of each hex portion is very likely left, and not right hand thread.
lucky for you the buddy has a low oxygen shut off because propane combustion doesnt produce carbon monoxide, but water and carbon dioxide... UNLESS insufficient oxygen and excessive moisture in the air, THEN it produces carbon monoxide.
