I believe that being resilient, living your life true to yourself and not caring about what other people think is one of the biggest super powers a human may have ❤

Was this video relentlessly helpful? Yes, it was. Not only for me, but I'm going to share with my daughter who gets overwhelmed by absolutely everything

Well Vanessa and Jodie you have succeeded in being 'relentlessly helpful' to me. Thank you so much! The food analogy has stayed with me for days. I have told myself in many occasions now 'I am coriander! People will either like me or not' (I am in the UK btw so not cilantro!) and I'm not kidding it has helped me SO much - just that one phrase. For some reason it has clicked with me. I have the right to be me with my own unique personality and 'flavour'. I will not appeal to everyone...and I can see that that is ok. I do not need to make myself become vanilla to appeal to more people. This feels like a great start for me as a HUGE people pleaser and I will carry on building on this. Thank you.

Yes No. 5! Successful people just don't need to trash talk others. It says more about them that it ever will about who they're trashing.

I love this video. It was relentless helpful to me. I love the analogy of the food. I want to always be me and flavorful. Also, to see the person who is negative smaller. I think about a toddler, and it changes the perspective - a toddler having a bad day. What I think is " Will God tell me' Well done my faithful servant ' if He's please, that's what matters. That's my why as I serve.

Love your channel! I also use a food analogy to help deal with not everyone liking me. Mine is milk is not for everyone some people can be allergic or just not like it. That does not make it bad, just not for everyone.

Thanks for sharing that analogy!

I loved what you said about being relentless on being generous. I often doubt myself when I mentor other people who come to me. We talk, they express an interest in learning some things, and then I share them resources I have saved in my Evernote that helped me (Some of which are from Science of People). I always wonder if I sent them too much, but in many cases, I don't know when or if I will speak to them again. Some people have swallowed up everything I sent them, gotten new jobs or promoted, and told me. Others haven't said too much else. It's those I wonder about. But in all cases, it's my desire to be relentlessly generous with the people who ask for my help, given I don't necessarily have time to meet on a 1:1 basis with all the people that ask my advice (given I do have a day job too).

Beautiful lady in every way! I am a unique person in every way and I often get trash talked or smirked at and now I do a lot of what’s been discussed here and it really does work. For me it’s the law of attraction that has led me to these techniques because I never want to harbour negative thoughts feelings and emotions and as a result they never ruin my day! Vanessa you are so:awesome!

Thank you for being truthful about your life experiences, as well as people in general. It's encouraging to know, that all of us have the same type of issues, when it comes to relationships&human encounters. But not everyone, is prepared to be honest about it. Shalom from Israel. English is not my native language so the fact that Jodie's audio wasn't so good & out of sinck with her lips made a little hard to understand. but since it was very interesting and a thing that I'm struggling with, I listened to some parts over & over & even slowed it down until I got it... thanks.

It’s a shame that Vanessa should meet 1000 fans and then remember the one non fan. I always did this and I never understood why I would remember the one bad egg from the hundred good ones. I began to think that if I was crossing a field and a bull chased me and tried to kill me and I got over the gate in time, then I wouldn’t be angry with the bull or take its actions personally, it’s just a bull, doing what bulls do. People are people and do what they do and I began to care less about what they did or thought about me.

@firstklasshealthandwellnes1077
While I certainly don't want to be one of those naysayers, I have noticed something that I really absolutely need to address. It's very difficult / frustrating to watch the speaker that you have and you are down in the right hand corner being overly exaggerative. It would be nice if you would just nod the Todd time and listen to the person without using a bunch of hand gestures because it is extremely distracting. It's almost as if you want to show the person that is speaking that you well understand them, what they are saying is great and wonderful, and that you really resonate with their content. But you don't have to do all of that! Again, unfortunately, it's very distracting and I really wish there was a way I could make this comment private to you without others seeing it but unfortunately I don't think there is and if there is I'm not sure how to do it. Please forgive me but I need to be honest. I would also like to say that when you mentioned that one person that has a negative look on their face and it throws you off, to me that means that with that one person that feels the way they do, there are probably several others that feel the same way but aren't really showing the expression like that one person is. I struggle with this as well believe me! It's almost as if that one person speaks for several others that don't want to show outwardly what they are truly thinking on the inside or just want to appear stoic as to not influence us. Just a thought.
