Hi Will, I have a 12 week old cane corso puppy that I’m training using your principals. He’s doing very good on just about everything. I remember you said that maybe you can post videos of us training our puppies. I have some videos of him waiting for his food, learning heel, sit, down, stay. I would like to send you a video see what you think, he’s a beautiful blue cane corso boy.
Hi Will, thanks for the great video. I’ve been looking to get the prong Collar but faced with many reviews saying its a cheap knock off. I want the herm sprenger as you recommended it. Where could i go to order one?

Question my dog cane Corso puppy 11 weeks old gets very distracted easily and most of the time just stops I’ve been taking her on walks now for a week and still having the same issue. Abby advice?
In our country prong collar isnt allowed to use. We cant even buy them here. So how to correct without? I have Cane corso puppy and today getting your puppy course but while I try to learn from it, english not my native lanquage, can you help? My biggest problem is jumping against my daughter. Is there an answer to that in course? Ps.I love my Odin collar and leash! Highly recommend them.
Hi! Thanks for the video! What is the appropriate age to start using prone collar? My puppy is 4 months old and there're already cases when he knows what is required but does not do it (when strong distractions appear), so how to correct a small puppy? He seems to be too young for prone collar, no?
My 10 week old cane corso puppy growls aggressively and bites when we go to pick her up to bring her back inside when she won’t listen and pick her up off the couch (when she’s trying to get off but can’t cuz she’s too small!) any tips?
Just giver her a loud firm NO And put her in her crate. I know it’s hard when it comes to puppies but if you don’t start sooner they’ll walk all over you. REMEMBER To be patient
I have a new 8 week corso puppy and OMG……. He just totally spreads out and lays down when the lead is attached . Help!!!! I’ve bought and placed a prong collar but he’s still doing it . I don’t want to hurt him. Help !
Hi Vicki, Will had the same problem with his English Mastiff when she was a puppy and we made a video on how to handle it over on our dedicated training channel: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HsoRFHQLcCM.html
Hi! You mention prong collars in this video, so you have one you recommend for Cane Corso’s? Thank you! And thank you for the videos! We adopted a year old Cane Corso that unfortunately wasn’t trained well or consistently “from the start” so we’re trying to well by him now so we appreciate your advice!! Thanks again.
My cane corso is very energetic means he lunges to other people who talk to me or him (even kids who are laughing and playing) and to every other dog. He's 1 year, had enough socializing but I don't know what causes this. He's not aggressive he just want to say hello to them he pulls us there and greets them and is wiggling is tail but obviously not everyone wants it and it's sometimes hard to hold him or correct him cuz he doesn't give a F.... My wife don't want a prone collar is there and other way to correct him so he understands that staring and lunging is not acceptable?
But if you should not hurt the dog with the prong collar, should people with enough strength to stop the dog with a normal collar use it at all ? Like if I tug hard once and he stops, is it enough correction ? Why use a prong ?

The breeder I'm interested in doesn't send the puppy's until they are fully healed from ear cropping meaning I wouldn't get the dog until 3 months old at least maybe 4 months, do you think that it's too important to miss out on those early weeks or in the grand scheme of things is it a non-issue?
That's a good breeder insuring the best product by not releasing them until stitching is set. A good breeder will already(should)be pre-training the litter on basics during this time
@@leerossemanuel8902 An example would be...when my dogs litter of 13 was born the breeder and 2 family members ensured clean kennels, vet appointment made and supervised, potty training and aggression levels supervised(the mother dog helps with this also), microchiped, cropped, docked, coned until nearly healed and final checkup before release. Our dog practically showed up preconditioned for most basic starter tasks/commands. My friend went the "cheaper" route and the results are day vs night.
Random question regarding the side you train your dog to walk on... why the left side? Everyone says the left, but if you walk trails like you drive cars (in the US anyway) that means your dog is closest to everything passing you. And most people are right handed leaving the dog leash in your less dominate hand. Just curious??
It's mostly a tradition thing the originates from hunting / professional canine work. For example if hunting when right handed, the gun would be used with the right, so the dog would be on the left. There's no issue with training your dog to be on your right, it's completely up to you.
In my opinion and in your situation left is better, because if Your dog is on your right it will be off in the brush of a trail, or you would have to take up the entire trail.
