I have had three Rotties my last and the best just passed I was thinking about getting a Cane Corso is there a big difference in training and keeping one as a family pet.
Absolutely not..cane Corso is a mongrel dog breed throughout the world, only recognized recently in USA and Italy. Man made in the 80s based on a breed that was extinct for thousands of years , a farm utility breed used for guarding and companionship nowadays but a mongrel dog, not a true guardian breed at all.

My dog looks like a cane conso yet the animal shelter has her labeled a pitbull Labrador however she has those undeniable Corsica cheeks, the thin coat & she’s built like a racehorse rather than flabby fat. She weighs approximately 80 pounds & is still under two years if age. How do I know for sure her breed/s? We named her Moira Isadora. My husband playfully calls her cow because she’s so heavy and thinks she’s a lap dog. Her obsession to chew ears.. human & small dog alike. Her best friends are a Boxer/Beagle/Pointer mix,2 dachshunds & an Australian Cattle Dog.
Okay, hear me out, so I have thought about getting a dog for the longest, I started researching and I went to a shelter. This dog came up to me, after a biiig stretch, she was sleeping, turns out she is a cane corso. The guy at the shelter explained to me that she needed a lot of care, special food, medicine, and attention. She was fitting everything I could give to her. I have a big house with a big garden, plenty of space to run and smell things. My house is mainly tails, so I had no problem with her being inside for a couple months. Let me tell you, I have owned a dog before. I have never in my life saw a dog so smart, the fastest learner, the biggest cuddle bug. She is with me for a week now, she is 2 months old rn. She already knows how to sit, lay down, catch, bring, waiting for me to say Yes before eating something. She waits at the door when she wants to get out to wee. I socialize her as much as I can, but she doesn't have the 2 vaccines yet, so I can't meet her with other dogs. Keep in mind, I work from home, and I'm home most of the time, so she has the attention she needs, she is mostly with me, but she loves attention from other people, she is... my heart. I also have finances to buy her the best food. I can provide for her. I'm not telling this to brag. I just say that you need to be financially ready for the bills with this breed.
What do you do if you redirect reinforce and they chose to drop the chew and come back to biting your arm or hand. I have bought the perfect puppy course but the idea that is given in the course is to correct redirect and reinforce. However that is not working for my 3 month old cane corso. She gets hype up more if you correct her
My corso do listen.only thing is I need help with is recall and pulling on lead. I'd like Yr help please. For my son who has autism.If my corso is off lead I tell her wait. She do wait till I get 2 her.she goes in standstill.if I tell her wait by road.she waits.i carnt understand why she wont do recall and pulling on lead.I really do need help. Please Help! So , I have this friend( Nicole) that has a Cane Corso mix that's 10 months old(Diamond) and she does not have any control over her, she also has another dog(Mia) that Diamond has begun to fight with. It started out playful, not aggressive, but since Diamond has gotten her first menstrual cycle it's gotten very aggressive she attacks the Mia and it's become vicious. Nicole's had to break off Diamonds grip on Mia's neck before it broke skin and I'm worried about Mia and Nicole. Not to mention what could happen to Diamond if it gets worse. I don't know what to do, she hasn't gotten any training, so at this point Diamond runs the show and does whatever she wants. What can be done to gain control over this 10 months old Corso mix puppy, if anything? Hunting for help...

I work with dog an humans. People who are coming out off gaiI ore menthal institude. The goal is to reintegreade in socaity I always work with mastiff &bulldogs because there are more humans intended. And if it go,s wrong, they can stand a bumb. In the begining i worked with the bullmastiff and french bullfog. They are calm and not do reactif. Now i work with cane corso, there hunting skills in mind, there are realu responsifs dogs in body lenguis. Helpung people to undersysnd there social skills.
We are at 5 months with a male corso hes 60lbs and 23inches at the withers already. Hes the biggest baby and needs to next to or touching me or my girlfriend so much so he has panic attacks of we leave his sight. I'm sure he will grow out of it but what you said about not being mentally grown till 3 or 4 worries me a little.
I got my cane when she was 3 months old. The first night she went into her crate pretty easy. But when everyone went to bed and the light were off she started crying. She was next to my blue nose pit that kinda yelled at her it was pretty funny. I stayed up next to her with the lights off til really late reassuring her she was ok. That was all it took she is now 10 months old will go straight to her box from that night sleep all night long. They are very smart dogs. Doesn't take much to teach them.
My Cane corso is only 1 year old but he is a X breed not a pedigree, but I've had him from 4 month's old and he's never been any trouble I had him house trained in a week
My boy is one year old today. This is absolutely accurate. Normal monthly cost for him is easily $800-$1000 per month and that's just reoccurring costs.
I’m disabled and would love to have a Cane Corso as my mobility therapy dog. Do they respond well to having an indoor “job” like in a hospital setting? I assume early socialization and training would be paramount. But you’re the expert and I’m just learning.

This guy's channel is amazing and the reason me and my wife purchased a cane Corso for my six-year Son's birthday two years ago I know everybody has an opinion, but it is honestly the best dog we Could've asked for. The dog came from Russia and they've been breeding through the same bloodline for years certificate came with the breakdown for The father, who was Boss the forth and the mother was Roxy the forth we named him Loki he is now two years old and 130 pounds we have an eight year old son now, five year-old daughter and a four month old baby, which he absolutely adores Highly recommend this breed. not only a Great family, dog, but a devoted and loyal guardian for our house and property.. cane Corso rock only way I can describe. It is a gentle beast towards his family, and one of the greatest threats to an intruder that you can purchase.💪

I am 17, and my family owns two Shelties. I am considering getting a show-line Labrador Retriever once I move out because I am considering getting a Cane Corso after I get more experience training dogs. Would having a well-behaved, well-trained dog help or hinder the training process of owning a Cane Corso? Would having a second dog help prevent separation anxiety in the Cane Corso?

I rescued an 8 month old CC. Guy did nothing with her. It’s so sad. Shes sweet so I hope the work will turn her around. She has no manners currently. No just seems to get her into play mode. She has class soon, but what can I do when verbal corrections don’t work.
How do I stop my Cane Corso from jumping, he is 9 months now and almost 70kg. Seems to jump more when he is told no. I am 55 KG now so when he jumps on me he throws me.
Our 11 week cane corso puppy....we are trying the crate sleeping... we have him in the kitchen and he cries so terribly.... I would say that we are doing the tough love approach....he cries so long... he will calm down then go right back to crying.... he's so mad he had pooped and peed in the cage during the night. We don't go down to check on him until the morning. Is this 1. Giving him anxiety 2. Making him afraid of the cage.
