Considering doing my first PSA submission of roughly 30 modern-mid era cards! Appreciate your insight into how you pack the cards up for shipping, will definitely help me out!
That giratina i sent along with charizard from paldean fates are the first cards ive submitted, hopefully they come back 10's! And hopefully theyre back before june
Good to see an estimate of how much it costs. Definitely not a cheap practice for the common person looking to grade but it’s definitely worth it if you are a reseller or just want the true value of a card in your collection
Man, I thought the declared value was for the entire batch of cards! 😂 Good to know it’s per card. The increase in membership sucks though. Appreciate the video as someone who has never submitted cards for grading!
Getting ready for my first PSA submission, 20-25 cards. There are some that I know will not get a 10, but those are mostly personal collection pieces. Appreciate the info on how to ship and get ready. It's kinda nerve wracking thinking about shipping all of these off. Question on declared value, Is that the raw value? or a graded value?
not sent in anything to be graded i did have a card in the summer i wanted to get graded but then i noticed some flaws and decided not to send it in so just waiting for that special card to protect from my smokers hands lol
Or if that ever happens you just send out 2 different shipments? ** I package with cards with max declared value of $200 and the other with max declared value of $500(next tier)
If the submission includes cards that have a max declared value of $200 and then some in the next tier($500), would you submit them all in the higher tier? Or can you submit some in $200 tier and some in $500 tier in same submission in different packages? I would assume you would so one tier first and then exit out and go back in?
Would you ever consider sending 1 card. It scares me to send 10 of my top cards and possibly having something happen to them and plus spending 100s of dollars makes me nervous. My pockets ain't stacked.
Hey man, I want to grade my Alt V Giratina. Am I allowed to ship it Also with a bunch of the under $200 cards? I want to do probably a 40 card or 50 card submission.. just checking, thanks for the video!! Is it okay to mix high with low in same submission? I don’t mind paying extra
Yep you can. It’ll affect the amount of insurance PSA puts on it, and you’ll get upcharged. But I’ve done it quite a few times. Shouldn’t affect your grade whatsoever
@@ThePokeOffice so when it asks the price , I can put 500 or whatever they’ve been going for at the time of my submission? Thanks man. Looking forward to sending a bunch in!!!
@@ThePokeOffice couple more questions… so looks like there’s a $150 option or a $200 option to sign up and be able to grade with psa… should I just do the $150 one ? Or should I do the more expensive? And last question, how much is it per bulk card right now? Minimum of 20.. is it like 15 or 17 a card or something? Thanks in advance man. I definitely plan on sending some nice ones in sometime
No, you’ll have to declare that it’s a $200 card or less if you use the bulk submission. The psa membership gives you access to the bulk submissions for 14.99 per card, so depends. Ive done 6 submissions this year so the membership has been worth it for me
It's not a new address, but now everything goes to their actual address, rather than their PO box if I'm not mistaken. Go check their FAQ on the website and it will tell you
Hey, I'm also submitting from Canada, I wanted to submit 200 cards all in one order, do you think its better to separate it up? I'm also concerned about how much the import and export fees will be if you could provide some insight on that that would be amazing!
I'd do it all at once if you can afford it. PSA charges you after the grading is done, and if there are any upcharges, that will also take place after the grading is done. Import fees are 12% tax, so if all the cards fall under the $14.99 bulk cost, then your price would be 14.99USD x 1.37 (roughly CAD exchange rate) = $20.50 per card for the grading service, and then 20.50 x 12% = $2.50 per card in import tax. Then, you'll have to pay shipping to PSA and PSA charges you shipping fees back to you. The last few times, it's cost me roughly $29CAD per card after all the expenses.
@@ThePokeOffice Thanks so much for the reply, so quick as well! This helped me so much thanks, I was only worried about sending it all in at once because of insurance issues. So I only need to pay import fees on the grading cost instead of the declared value, but the package is insured for the declared value? (ex 200 cards x $200 declared value would mean $40,000 in insurance if it gets lost but when it gets imported I only pay the 12% on the grading fees?
I would definitely be insuring the package when you send it there... that is your responsibility until it gets to PSA. They'll insure your return package for you
