Are there any issues with older E-4/E-5's that come into Ranger Regiment after being in the regular Army for a few years in terms of soldier quality? I imagine kicking old habits would be hard but possibly more accustomed to Army life opposed to a brand new private out of OSUT.
Never interacted or worked with any females in Regiment, there was only one I think that was a PL in 3/75. As far as dudes go, we had several with more extensive civilian careers or college. Some did okay, some not as well. The key difference was how much they were willing to buy into the mission and culture, how fast they could learn, and if they were able to swallow their pride when they were privates
Yeah, I know one guy who was able to get his bachelor's, a lot of other dudes knocked out 2-3 years of a four year. Granted I was in during c0vid when there was a lot of downtime which helped the dudes in school quite a bit
Usually at the absolute bare minimum, a year after earning their tab. So roughly 2 years. However, when I was on my way out they were looking more for dudes who were complete with gun team leader time or team leader time, so about 4ish years in the unit
Would the tuition assistance or any other type of aid on behalf of the army, assist in paying off student loans for somebody who went to college before they joined?
hey could you give your thoughts on jake zweigs new video with the army ranger? i think that would be a good video also some of the shit he said was wild wondered if it was like that at 1st bat?
