I’d recommend gas buddy for in the future for roadtrips! They have a debit card program where you get even cheaper gas after you already find the cheapest near you
Yeah the first red flag to know if the artists isn't soo great, is if they say that's impossible. When they say that, that just means that they don't specialize in that type of art, and area. Just something to keep in mind.
Hey Sam! I don't want to alarm you at all, but I'd definitely reccomend checking to make sure there aren't any CO2 or carbon monoxide buildups or anything in your house because sometimes they can cause memory lapses and stuff!
You should get a security system, it’ll help with the paranoia and safety. So, if it’s you you’ll know, if it’s a person you have them on camera and know how to protect yourself, if it’s a ghost then you at least know and can have whatever piece of mind that gives you. However if it is a ghost and if I was you, I’d move or burn the place down just cause I’d freak out. 😅 Stay safe!
my mom is covered in tattoos and now I have only two so far, but she told me something that i’ll forever live by. if an artist tells you they can’t do something for you, never settle. you can typically always find an artist to do what you ask for, if an artist tells you no, it’s typically because they aren’t good at what you’re asking for
Hey uhhhh this is shit advice, my whole family is heavily tattooed including me, they were right in that it would blow out and look shit. But she shouldn’t have gotten anything at all if she couldn’t get what she wanted. If she went somewhere else and they did the other tattoo guess what? It’d blow out and look shit and she’s be getting a removal still.
@@AngelLilith you seem….butthurt? if you get a single needle tattoo in that place, it doesn’t blow out like that. speaking from having one myself there. I went to MANY artists looking for that placement many told me they couldn’t and that i would need to go to a single needle tattoo artist … then I did. and found an artist that it fit her style and two years later my tattoo looks perfectly normal. so next time, please feel free to comment your own opinion under her video, separately, rather than attacking someone who is, in fact, entitled to her own opinion. JUST LIKE YOU! :-)
Keep in mind (as someone who has 30+ tattoos) that getting it removed doesn't mean you're home free. It's painful, and it can leave scarring that can be impossible to re tattoo over. Look for someone that can touch them up, or work with the lines you have to cover them with a different concept. Always ask to see the artists book before sitting down with them. It's a life long commitment and it's okay to go to a consultation, view their work and then decide they aren't for you.
also, as someone who has tattoos & have had them for 4 years. Having a thicker line & design is definitely a good thing bc of what they said, bc it will spread that’s normal!! If you ever do not like a tattoo , DO NOT GET THE TATTOO!!! Doesn’t matter if you hurt feelings, it’s your body!!! Please do your research with artists , do not settle !!!
YES! I have a tattoo on the back of my arm. It was a free hand tattoo of some writing. The artist was meant to specialise in that style of tattoo… Except they didn’t do the font or even the design we agreed on….. 🫠 it says the same thing, but it’s not what I wanted. Like at all
Uh oh…I have a very detailed fine line moth tattoo on my ribs 😭 I actually only wanted bold line work because I prefer the style, but my artist drew up such a beautiful stencil that I just went with it. Do you think it’ll become a mess in the future? I wear sunscreen over it anytime I go swimming but idrk if that helps much 🙏
@@jupitersspell sunscreen will definitely help & it’ll never hurt to put it on! But ink spreads in skin over time regardless!! that’s why it’s important to have an artist that will speak to you about what you would want it to look like in 5 years!! touch ups help keep structure sometimes, it really just depends!

the semi probably had a load in their truck. the extra weight means that they cant stop or brake very quickly (think of weight and momentum). they probably closed the gap because they couldnt brake in time without hitting you! so the safer option for both of you was to “cut you off”.
You should set up some cameras in your living room/kitchen to see if it's really you sleep walking or if it picks up on 'something else' - your videos get me through work, much love to you
When my son was little and still in a crib we would hear him giggling uncontrollably at times mostly right after he would go to bed for the night and first thing in the morning and we could never figure out what was so funny. Eventually we got one of those video baby monitors so we could see what he was doing…I shit you not every single time he would start his giggling it looked like he was being tickled…a little later on in life when he was like 3 and 4 years old he would act as if he was playing with someone and no one was there like he would have conversations when I finally asked him who he was playing and talking with he said “my sister in heaven she plays with me since I was a baby” My daughter passed away 5 years before he was born 🫢
@@ShastaAnn I also have her urn as a baby he never knew what it was obviously but he had a tendency to play over by the shelf where I have her urn along with some other memorabilia of her and he’d always look up at the shelf with the brightest smile
Your tattoo is actually really cute! Maybe consult other artists and asks their opinion/suggestions on how to make it better! Could be a cheaper option too!
That story about the dog food is so similar to something that happened to me! In the morning I take my retainers out and put them in my case, in the bathroom. When I was getting ready for bed one night, my bottom retainer was missing. We flipped the house upside down looking for it.. I was panicking bc retainers are $$$$ PLUS we have a dog and I thought maybe if I accidentaly left it on the counter he could have eaten it or something lol. The next day I made an appt to go get a new bottom retainer at the orthodontist and the night before my appointment it appeared on the bed. In the middle of the bed, the made up bed, just placed there. It was weird
As someone with tattoos and piercings, I can tell you it'll cost less to get your tattoo touched up and looking better than it will to get it removed. It will also hurt WAY more to get it removed.

Do you have a carbon monoxide detector that is active? Carbon Monoxide poisoning can cause memory loss - which may explain why the dog food moved, but you have no memory of moving it. Same with the flowers!
Samantha, I dont mean to scare you, but periodically take somebody with you and thoroughly check your attic, your basement (if you have either), unused closets, etc. There is a horrible trend going on called "phrogging" (pronounced "frogging") where people secretly take up residence in other people's homes without their knowledge or permission and use the house or steal food, etc, when the homeowner or renter is asleep or gone. It's kind of like squatting except the home they're squatting in is not abandoned or empty, and they hide and "live" in crawl spaces, attics, places in the home that are rarely accessed by the homeowner or renter. The homeowner or renter has NO IDEA anybody is living in their unused spaces unless they start hearing things or noticing stuff missing or misplaced. It's scary, and it's real, now more than ever with the homelessness crisis.
@@Elsiiiie The thought of somebody secretly living in your house absolutely could cause anxiety, but it's definitely worth checking out, and hopefully what Sam is experiencing is absolutely nothing. For me personally, a ghost would be completely terrifying too.

Aww Sam! I'm so sorry about your tattoo experience - I have 5 and have only had 1 not so great experience!! I feel like we're the same (like maybe not speaking up if not loving a design/feeling bad about leaving the appt & tipping nicely after you don't like it). While I agree with them that it could've not looked as great a few years down the line, it still stinks to not walk away with something you love on your body! I hope in the future if you decide to get another you can find an artist that you love and have a better experience (ALSO - I think your tattoo looks cute, but understand if it wasn't exactly what you pictured)! PSA: research the tattoo artists portfolio before choosing one!! Choose the artist that specializes in your idea; whether that is calligraphy, watercolor, or small designs.

hey Sam! most of the time when tattoo artists aren’t specialized in single needle tattoos they like to tell people it’s “impossible” to get mini tattoos done and they all say the same thing about the blob. That only happens when it’s done by someone who doesn’t know how to do small tattoos. Next time you want something like that go to NYC there are ALOT of artists that specialize in mini tattoos. I personally go to mischief tattoo. I have a lot of small pieces and got a lot when I was 18 and no blobs and I am 24 now.

Came here to say the same thing…. An artist told me fine line tattoos always blow out, and I shouldn’t do one in 5hay style, did mine thicker than I wanted an then that one blew out, it’s hardly legible anymore…. Fine line is possible many just aren’t skilled in it.

Maybe look into carbon monoxide poisoning. There was a story on Reddit a long time ago about a dude that thought his landlord was breaking in and leaving him notes. Turns out he had confusion and hallucinations because of carbon monoxide.
@@madd.ie. idk!! On the way there I didn’t let it fully empty so I put gas in twice but on the way back I was able to make it 6 hours on a tank, and then filled up and I still have like 80 miles left!

Your tattoo is absolutely gorgeous and adorable. I would wait if I were you before considering covering it up. I promise, you’ll love it. I’ve been there with instant regret because the original design didn’t go as planned but something magical happens during the few weeks of healing. You’ll fall in love with it, and not in a Stockholm syndrome ‘I have to love it’ kind of way. It’s gorgeous girl, and touch ups in the future for it will be beautiful and seamless.
Hey, hey - When It comes to tattoos, my process is ALWAYS to talk to multiple artists, check their books for similar designs, and unfortunately, yes. You will have to wait :( but I have quite a few special tattoos that took me 3 years to get because I didn't want to go through removing them. But the first one is always a blunder (I.e. I have dumbo on my wrist, and well, dumbo is sad, haha). Cant wait to see more of your tattoo journey
My first tattoo was terrible too, it’s ok the writing is beautiful but the B is not connected with the rest of the word like I wanted and I specified I wanted it that way. My second tattoo I love it so much it’s my dogs paw print, I dipped my dogs paw in some paint put it on a piece of paper and brought it to the artist he did a wonderful job it looks exactly like the picture and he only charged me 80 dollars. My first tattoo was 150 and it wasn’t even exactly how I wanted it. Needless to say I’d be going back to the other guy who charged less he’s been tattooing for 20 years.

A tattoo expert here on RU-vid once said if a tattoo artist tells you it’s not possible to do (including thin lines) they’re bsing you just because THEY can’t do it. If I remember her RU-vid I’ll post it, it’s definitely possible and there’s artist that specialize in that. 😭

I also wouldn’t tattoo over skin that has gone through the removal process. Considering a dainty tattoo wouldn’t age well anyway, I would consider getting someone experienced to touch up your current tattoo

Hey I’m in the same boat with removing a new tattoo!! My story is very similar, the artist drew it up and it looked good, but it was bigger than I wanted. He said if I went bigger it would blur and blowout over time. So I went a little bigger. As soon as it was done I regretted it. Fast foward a month or two and it has blowout. I was so pissed, and so many ppl said doing laser removal wasn’t worth it but im doing it. I’m only 2 sessions in but I don’t regret it. I will say, it’s pretty painful and is expensive, but the treatments are spaced apart pretty far. Just my two sense-worth. Love your videos, been watching since the beginning ❤️
I know someone else mentioned it, but please get a CO2 alarm if you don't already have one. C02 exposure can cause very odd lapses in memory that seem unexplainable. You can get them near the fire alarms in any home hardware store/walmart/etc.
I have a similar first tattoo story too! With a butterfly and my butterfly looks like a blob now cause it’s so small and he didn’t warn me about the whole small tattoo & the ink bleeding later on 😭 but I’ve seen people get those dainty tattoos so Im pretty sure some tattoo artist do them maybe not all though? I think it depends on the style of art they are used to doing

As someone who lives in Indiana, not only do Semis not let you through when you have to merge, REGULAR DRIVERS do it to. I find it ridiculous and gives me severe anxiety when I drive. :/ Also love this video, it's fun to see you go on road trips.
Hi! I do tattoos and what they said about the lines blowing out over time is unfortunately true. We get a few dainty tattoo requests that we cant do for that reason. Its such a shame as they look cute for a photo but not for longevity, especially when tattoos are not cheap. Your butterflies still look lovely! Line work is nice and consistent, even if it isn't what you 100% wanted :) Been a watcher for a while now and loving the content!
If they say you could never do that design, def ask another shop next time :) I recommend finding an artist whose work you really like and going to them for designs, that way if it doesn't turn out as expected, you know it will still turn out amazing. I think the lines blowing out has more to do with the artist and how good they are at tattooing
i think the tattoo is cute but i totally get where you’re coming from! Honestly you gotta make sure you really know someone’s style and that you like it before you get tattooed by them because not everyone is able to/willing to do super dainty fine line pieces. It’s always a bummer when the tattoo isn’t what you wanted and remember you can always talk to the shop and see what they can do about what happened (ie. rework it, cover it up, give your money back, fund your removal) i hope you have a better tattoo experience in the future(:
i think the butterflies look so cute!!! if you still aren’t happy with them- they are small / simple enough that once they’re fully healed, you should have no issues seeing a different artist to rework the design and fix it. :) and this time you have experience with tattoo shops, and should feel more comfortable speaking up for yourself in regards of the design. Regardless i think the tattoo has character, and is adorable. 🖤🖤
That tattoo inspiration is absolutely going to blow out in a few years so they’re right there but you shouldn’t have settled for something you weren’t happy with you live and learn. It’s small it’s hidden and honestly you might grow to like it, it’s not horrific. Don’t let it put you off tattoos and fine line tattoos are possible for sure just not that small and not on that part of your head. Yes where you get it matters as to how lines will pull. I’d advise just researching an artist, make sure they have healed art images, and make sure you follow their aftercare, Best of luck for future tattoos 👍🏻
They have drinks called Ice and they are carbonated and they have a lemon lime flavor kinda like Sprite. With no sugar. They are pretty good. If you are looking for a substitute 😁
