Whenever ive adapted the Door is open for both ways attitude for people. It seems a lot of pressure comes off. You feel more relaxed and less responsible for the interaction. Using imagination is also a great tip
Hey Josh, really love your videos, they really help me and countless others out. Any advice on talking to people who don't really have much in common with you? Whether that be starting a conversation, keeping it going or just surviving a conversation.
Hey I'm not Josh but I think I can help with that, if you don't really have much in common with the other person you can just about what they are interested in. For example Person A knows how to play the piano but you don't. You don't have much in common but to last this conversation you decided to ask them about the piano such as, Hey how hard is to play it, do you think you've mastered the piano, should I play it? , how do I play it and etc. This is just an example of a piano. You got to find what they are interested in and show some respect to them while talking to them. Just like Josh said the best conversation is not about you its about them. Talking to someone in what they are interested in makes them feel respected and this will lead to get relations. Hope this helps and sorry for anything I repeated.

1.imagine person you talking is the worlds most interseting 2.wait for 2 3 seconds to respond after they finish-mostly they want to add something more but you are cutting them off 3.always ask open ended questions -starts from what how why when 4.dont put pressure on yourself

I also like how your vid was made; your vid was gave 2015 vibes and felt very connected with the viewer and slow paced compared to vids nowadays which scream at you the second you click on them. When the other person is talking and as they are talking, a thought pops in my head where I would like to ask further about that or share similar experiences, but as they continue with their conversation, they are talking and I wait patiently, I forgot what they were saying as they spoke about other information after that. What should I do?
@@JoshuaOtusanya I think your thumbnails aren't that catchy and struggle to stand out. They seem kinda of generic, I'd suggest that you try to make them more click-able and make them catch people's attention. I love your video btw.
