Thank you so much for this! My daughter is 10 weeks and has always been pretty ahead when it comes to tummy time so I was looking for ways to expand her floor time and build towards other skills and these suggestions were perfect! She's not quite at the wobbling stage yet but she loves sitting upright assisted and I can see she's starting to gain those muscles :)
My baby reached the rollover and completely forgot after achieving it and now he is almost 7 months old but not being able to sut by on n hates tummy time too now
Wow! Some really great information in here! I didn’t realize all the things we used to do when they were baby were actually helping them into getting ready for the sitting position. Like the one holding them up on your knees.
Thank you for this! My baby is showing signs that she's ready to start sitting, so i figured I'd find some more info on how/ what to do. Also, I've heard "ditch the bumbo, it's bad for your baby!" online, but I never knew why. And now I know it's because it's not actually helping them learn! So good to know! But it's comforting to know that it's not completely bad, just not good for learning
My baby is 6 months old...he does tummy time all day...he turns on his tummy every minute whenever i left him down but he is not able to sit...i m so worried....can u plz tell me what will i do
My baby turns 6m next week and she does everything except sit unassisted. She rolls, she can even scoot. But she hates sitting. Need help with this also
Every baby is different, keep doing what you're doing, Mama. He'll get there before you know it! Take pride that you're still doing everything you can, even if it feels like a marathon. Your presence and efforts will come to fruition! 💜
