Thank you for all these resources Dr. Hemphill! Online teaching is going to grow exponentially in the next year so I've decided to focus most of my future content on helping teachers with teaching online classes. But you gave so many tips and resources in this one video that I don't have anything left to talk about! hahaha 😂😀
It's funny you say that because I found that I only scratched the surface. I think I'd like to create a follow up video on some other interesting esl platforms as well as teaching platforms that may benefit others. You are right.... this will probably become the new normal.
@@TheLanguageLady So much out there to cover. I've got to create online classes this semester so I'll try to share whatever knowledge I gain with people out there.
I'm at the beginning of this journey. I love all of the resources you gave. I didn't realize there were whole curriculums available and for free. This is so exciting! Not only did I subscribe but I turned on notifications! ❤❤
@@itsShelbyE I have been so busy cleaning my home and working on videos I have not had a chance to get bored. I guess it is a good time to watch at home movies, right? 🤣
Thanks for posting this helpful tips. Its been my long desire to teach online, while processing my State board , but I don't know how to start, I have no materials for props, I have no teaching experience and my hubby isn't supporting this kind of job. Anyway, I'll give it a shot!
You have provided such excellent information and I enjoyed watching your video as this might be a possible new job for me. The tip about choosing to sit by the window where there is more natural light makes a lot of sense. Great video!
Thank you for watching, Debbie and welcome to the Language Lady community! When you say live lessons, are you talking about live lessons of me using ELLO or Story Online with my students?
As soon as classes start up again, I can do that for you. I'm also working with my school district to get permission to record my lessons with my students. For now, I blur their faces. Stay tuned.☺️
Wow! This is so wonderful, amazing and very helpful! Although, I can't seem to find the part for teachers on story online! Help! It doesn't show up anywhere for me!
Hi Melissa! Thank you for watching my video. When you click on any video in Story Online, below the video "Share" and "Activity Guides". Click on Activity Guides and then click on "For Teachers." I hopet this help. If it doesn't, let me know.
Hi Adriana! Thank you for watching and commenting. Can you let me know which part of the video you are referring to? Perhaps you can let me know the time code. For example, 2:12, etc...☺️
@@TheLanguageLady Thanks for answering my message, I figured it out, they have to type the code you create and then they have to send you the grade! Thanks for your help!
Hi. I love watching your videos. Could you help me with Google classroom. I have been learning all these activities which are completely new for me. Could you tell me how to put audio on google slides so my students can have easy access Thanks
Hi Letty! Thank you for watching. 😊❣ To insert audio on the slide, check out this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7HgPaeCVViA.html If you want to upload a recording of yourself, you can make a recording of yourself here and save it as an audio file and place it in your Google slide. online-voice-recorder.com/ I hope this helps. Hello there! What would you like the code for? it's been a while since I made that video so I'm not sure which activity you are referring to. Thank you so much for watching my video!
Thank you so much welcome to the Language Lady family! I recommend to lock the session when you have all your participants and enabling the waiting room feature.
