I have that exact same model and color benchmade infidel. Funny story, I found it in a Chipotle parking lot broken and beat up and did a whole repair job on it after I took it home and realized what it was worth. Whoever just chucked the poor broken benchmade either thought it was irreparable or it's literally a murder weapon and someone discarded it 😳
How the Hell does Benchmade keep your knife if it's a fake? They just keep it and don't compensate you? How is that not illegal? It isn't their property to keep. That's bullshit on Benchmade's part. Honestly that makes me not want to give them my service.
But still. That doesn't give them the right to just steal people's property. The most that they should do is inform the owner that it's a fake piece, tell them that they won't be doing work or repairs on the piece then give the piece back to the rightful owner.
My “fake” benchmade has all the right marking and screws and is pretty heavy and only bought it for 35 buck lol still like it mainly for the action i got cold steel knives and strong arm fixed blade this bm is just to play with lol
I paid 170.00 for it at a pawn shop. The steel seems to be real 154cm and when sharpened right slices through things like butter as you probably already know. So again, pretty sure it's legit but you never know these days.
