If your Frigidate or Eleectrolux front-loading washing machine won't start, or won't go into high-speed spin, or stops in the middle of a cycle, or won't even lock, the trouble is going to be either this door latch assembly OR the expensive control board.
In this video, I explore the operation and internals of this device so you can understand exactly how it works and how to fully test it to see if it actually needs to be replaced. I also show a "proof of concept" for how you can "hot wire" your washer to start without the door latch connected.
