Does it matter how much weight your buck tail is?

I wouldn’t go anything over 1.5 ounces. I use like a 3/4 ounce bucktail. It’s a little heavy for the water I fish. You should only go above 3/4 ounce of you are in rough waters.

Yes the buck tail weight matters, too heavy then you won't be able to detect the bites and too light you won't be able to keep it close to the bottom. I usually go as light as I could depend on the water condition between 1/2 to 1.5 Oz. Good luck out there and thanks for watching!
