hi jimmy hope your well and thanks for the video I am half way installing 11mm pump and when I try to aline the gear on ZwithZZ by moving the front of the pump shaft but put dont seems to move

Awesome video mate thanks heaps, keep it up. Quick question I understand how timing it on the gears has an effect, but how does changing the angle of the pump change the timing with the dial guage?

Great video. What about if the pump i am fitting does not come with an indication of how many mm to adjust it to? I have taken it off from a second hand engine aligning only the "z's" and the top dead center mark...

I use a phone camera and hold in front of gear take a shot then look at photo to know if zs are lined up.

the ve fuel injector timing tool, ive searched them up on ebay and its coming up with toyota 1hz. does it really matter if i get it for a td42 12mm

Hey mate, Yeah that is the same one, as long as it says "VE style" the Toyota's and Nissan's ran the same ve style pump for a while..

Dang if they aint left hand threads. Mine had scribed lines on the pump and sandwich plate, but I'm not sure it's as accurate as this.

Hey Lewis, that's a pain mate😥 First confirm you are tdc on compression stroke on number one. Then just keep turning it slowly until it stops. Hope it goes well mate👍

Why i see mirrored pictures in Your movie? Is there any reason for this. The puel pump is on the R side of the block - you show us L side... Why?

Hi mate I gotta do my pump in few weeks After watching your video got bit more confident Just quick question do I have to Torque all the bolts down or is it only 1 main big bolts just needs to be torque? Doing 11mm ufi pump Thanks mate

Hey mate, you must be excited to get that done😊 love it when the rebuilt pump arrives 🎉 Do you mean the 3 x pump mounting nuts and the one to the rear bottom of the pump? I dont torque those, I just nip them up by hand. Hope that helps🤔 cheers

Those images what are backward do my head in, make sure your camera is not taking the mirror image, as then, my brain has to undo that mess while watching.
