The car is a 2012 Chevy Cruze with a 1.8 liter motor (this may also apply to a Chevy Sonic with the 1.8 motor). It even tells you when the timing belt is due for a change.
To get to the timing belt you have to remove a number of things from the engine and the body of the car. This video will be focusing on this because this is what takes the longest.

For clarification, the balancer bolt isn't a reverse torx, it's called an E-Torx. Using a 6 point socket is a great way to round off/strip it.

the first real hurdle was trying to decipher the timing marks. figured that out by taking still photos of the video and comparing it to my car. a close up of the marks would be beneficial to future shade trees like myself. other than that it was a very helpful video, it can be a daunting task seeing all the parts you have to remove but one step at a time!

You have said there are many videos on RU-vid aligning the the timing marks on the cams and crank which I have not found in my language which is English, not Spanish or Russian. Can you offer a link showing the alignment marks that you say are so prevalent on RU-vid?

am trying to put the new timing belt on. I had the locking tool in place between the camshaft sprockets with marks for all three sprockets sitting where they needed to be.

This was easily the best instructional video I'd seen, right up until it got to the belt changing part. Then it was a case of "Others have probably already videoed this part, so I won't. Good luck".

Air filter and oil change I can do, best if I just get the timing belt changed at the mechanic. I’ll mess it up easily

what if the installation timing is correct, but the engine shows DTC, "P0011 - Camshaft Position 'A' Timing Over-Advanced or System Performance Bank 1
