Hi guys! Lots of information to take from this video, so here is the training session breakdown: Warm up - 10 minutes Technical work - 15 minutes Speed/Agility work - 15 minutes Main Component - 20-30 minutes Specialty Work - 10 minutes Cool Down - 10 minutes Total time - 90 minutes Main points: - Gradually increase intensity of the session, starting light, pack the middle of your session with high intensity work, then lower the intensity towards the end. - Keep the bulk of your training position specific by replicating a situation you may find in a game. Get creative with it. - If you “don’t have time” for a full training session, make time. You have to prioritise training over other things if you want to be successful. No excuses. Enjoy!
This is the stuff I have been dying to figure out all my life. Thanks a lot. I need to prepare for trials which I've got 2 years to prepare for. Will 3 hours of 110% intensity training daily get me through it?
I needed this so bad !!!!! Thank you so much I've been following you since 1k subs and I've applied all of the tips in your videos to my game !!!!! Thanks
7mlc thanks man have a question though. I usually have one physical and one technical session in a day ! Then I should take away the stamina and agility drills from the soccer training and put it into the physical right ?
7mlc i realized my own life ,success it's inside of me , I'm in control of my own life and success , Iam so surprised about that truth, now I start to work on my mind cause it's so powerful thing that I have and be proactive
I really like your videos for individual improvement, I feel like a better player from 6 months or so of following them 2-3x a week. It would be nice to see some more group (3-5 people) drills I/we could use in squad trainings/with friends. Cheers
I've improved drastically in my game as well.... Even the smallest piece of your advice works out to be quite effective in my game....A special thanks to you once again
Great video! I want to say thank you for giving me a positive mindset, and allowing me to push myself to my very limit. Thanks to your helpful videos and my hard work and dedication, I was able to make my school team!
First video I've seen of yours. Brilliant! It's rare in a video that I watch all the way, but your style is awesome, concise, to the point and informative. Subbed, notifed. Thanks mate
I watched this RIGHT before heading out to the pitch to practice on my own. 10-15 min of the walk-jog-sprint.....holy crap....I did about 5 min and almost died. I am soooo out of shape. Wow!! Killer workout. #fitnessgoals

Hey MC, I appreciate the hard work and training videos that you've been sharing with us day to day... Hats off mate!!! I'm a coach aka parent... Lol for high school boys and girls indoor and my 4 yr. old indoor/outdoor team. You've made it easy for me to put drills of all types related to soccer together and have an effective practice. Thank you for your help and may God bless!
Thanks for the kind words Tommy! Really appreciate it, and happy to hear that it helps with your sessions. Continue the good work with your players, and wishing you the best.
@7mlc you have taught me so much thank you. I am only playing at club level but because of your motivation i have improved to make my representative team. I play as a defender and im quite short although i can read the play well for my level of football. I hope one day to reach the highest level i can even if its just Australia Federation or club football
+Charlie O'Callaghan Awesome stuff Charlie, so pleased to hear of your progress. Keep up the good work mate, continue to work hard and there’s no limit to how far you can go 👍
Hey Michael, I love your videos man! I often get caught ball watching before receiving a pass when the speed of play is high and then have to take extra touches to figure out what to do next. Do you have any ideas about how to simulate this pressure in individual training and develop better field awareness in games?
Thank you this was tons of help. I love organization and this was perfect. What about scrimmages though? I haven’t really seen anything about them in your videos. Do you think maybe less scrimmages and more individual skill work?
Your videos are great. I have a suggestion for you to use an aerial view with a drone of some of your training sessions so we can get a better picture of the dimensions. You can keep that in mind if you please.
And Watch games alot of em, Notice when the top players approach defending be it Marking ,Tackling etc pay attention to detail and just visual urself being at the same spot
I want u to make a video on my problem which is: I know I can dribble well I know and can do most of the skills but during match I get nervous when there is no passing option
these kind of training works well among young players but probably not when you are on your early to mid 40's due to wear and tear of joints and ligaments, specially the agility moves
