I have a question does that also transfer like play store and all of the other things that you login in online with to that new Google account or will that be erased bc I have sites I'm logined in with old account and I'm not sure if I do this they wouldn't be erased
I'm not sure how everyone else was able to use these instructions. I have tried a couple times over a month now and am thoroughly confused. Especially when you make the mistake & needed to correct the "less secured app" thing. I had to use common sense to find it under security, because your instructions lack clarity and you did not add the link. Nevertheless, nothing works. You also don't explain the difference between 995 & 110 or whatever other default Port # someone else might have. Please redo clearly. Thoroughly confusing.
I recently created an additional email account connected to my person gmail account for my children's homeschool. I have read many articles on how to move all emails and contacts over to the new email address but what if I only want to move certain folders (of saved emails) to the new email? Is there a way to do this?
Dose it transfers the email only from Inbox and sent items or does it allows to transfer the folders created in the old account to new account as it is?
Thank you for your help. I tried to move filtered emails from one account to another, but less secure apps are no longer supported. Is there any other way to move emails? Thank you.
Thank you for this video. I changed the name of my company and want to have all domains in one Google Workspace console (primary & secondary domains). Is there a way to delete a 2nd Google Workspace (setup by mistake) with the 2nd domain (new company domain name) and add this 2nd domain to the original Google Workspace containing the 1st domain name? Eventually, I want to forward emails from the original domain to the new company domain email address. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
I have 2 gmail accounts. I was able to transfer specific contacts over to new gmail account. The user labeled certain emails and moved them out of the inbox so she could refer back to them if needed. I need to transfer only those emails to the new gmail account. Is that possible?
I have an alumni college email account they’re about to close. If I do this, will my emails from now on go to this email or would I have to go change all my subscriptions, etc. to the gmail I plan to use?
I KEEP getting an error that my NEW email can't identify my POP server from my OLD email. Both are BUSINESS gmails. How do I find the POP username, server, port and if I use SSL or not?
Does this also transfers all the data stored on the old Gmail account, includig Photos, contacts, linked accounts, etc. If not what is the process to transfer that?
So does this allow one Gmail user to hand over ownership of there Gmail to someone new? I am confused as far as what this exactly does. For example I make a email for my child and when there old enough and responsible enough I can hand it over to them?
Hi Tony tried it but it says that my account does not have less secure app so in that case there is nothing to do? How come it does not have it. Thank you so much great video
Google no longer supports enabling Less Secure Apps. So the step that Tony performs at timestamp 3:57 isn't available anymore. Tony, please remake this video with updated information so that when we get the error message at timestamp 3:25, we can work around it.
Hello, I am getting a screen that asks me for a POP username and a POP server. There are values pre-populated to it, but it just keeps asking me for my password. Any thoughts on this? Thanks!
can we transfer sent message too in another email too ????? coz mine gmail is 99% full and i want to transfer everything on new account. is this will allow to use your old account as main account.
I transferred all my free emails to my business email. Only thing is, all the free emails are stuck in a label with the domain name and I want to transfer the free email inbox to my business email inbox. Is the only way to do that to forward an attachment? Thank you.
I'm trying to migrate emails from a Google Workspace account to a personal gmail account. I followed the steps above and it isn't working. Do you know if what I'm trying to do is possible and, if so, how to do it? Thanks!
I followed all the steps, also want to transfer all the labels and email response that I have received from my old account. Cab you help me with the same
Thanks for this great and very helpful video. I have been frustrated by a similar error to what you faced, and how you solved it by enabling less secure apps is exactly what I needed!
i got error message "we were unable to locate the other domain". i dont think this is still related to less secure apps or app passwords... what is this?
Since my former email has been tranferred to my other email, how do i transfer all my files from my previous google drive to another google drive sir? Thank you for responding
In my old email, I had 17 emails in the Inbox, and 13000 emails already sorted in folders. When I imported, I got exactly these two things as they were in the old email address, BUT they're all in an overriding folder called with the 13,000 emails individually listed in it. I don't want the overriding folder or the 13000 individually listed emails - I want my new email Inbox to look like the old one. How do I delete the overriding folder without deleting the subfolders? Thank you in advance for your reply.
Hello, great video! I was wondering how to transfer just some of my mails, and not all of them. Let’s say for example, just one folder. Is that possible? Thks
Im getting an error saying There was a problem connecting to mail Server returned error: "Connection timed out: There may be a problem with the settings you added. Please contact your other email provider to verify the correct server name and port."
This is a helpful video and easy to follow through with but due to 2 step verification on the account I want to transfer emails from, I'm unable to turn on the less secure app setting.
Less secure app access - This setting is not available for your account (As of May 30 2022 google has removed the less secure apps option. There is no way to turn this on as it no longer exists)
I would like to free up space in my primary Gmail account by moving some of my oldest emails to a secondary account that I have set up how do I do that
I like this way of transferring emails from one gmail account to another. Instead of transferring emails en masse, can I be more selective on which subjects or senders are transferred to my new account's inbox?
@@TonyTeachesTech Correct me if I'm wrong, as I haven't implemented this yet, but within the POP settings at the top (1:55) it provides a tip claiming. Tip: You can also forward only some of your mail by creating a filter!
Any tips if I keep getting this message "Gmail couldn't identify your POP server. Please enter your POP server information below." I already enabled less secure apps.
I need to do this with my friends email actually his old account is hacked so if I transfer his emails in a new gmail then is there risk of getting hacked on new account?
Super helpful!! Thank you. I was wondering say you take 50 emails from account A. and but them into account B. and then after a week account A gets more emails. Will those emails automatically go to account B or do we need to do this process again ?
This is a great video, but I can't get past the "Server denied POP3" message. I am trying to move gmails from my deceased husband's account over to mine. He had two-factor authentication on, but I think I was able to remove it. I followed the instructions, but I can't seem to find where to go after I get the cryptic password you are supposed to use. I was able to turn off the button for Less Secure Apps. But still get the bad message. Any other suggestions?
Perhaps I'm misunderstanding, but if you have full access to the account you'd like to transfer emails from, then the instructions in this video should allow you to accomplish that
