In this video I detail the Toner transfer process with a 3D printer. This process opens up a whole new avenue for your 3D printer.
This process uses tansparency paper or fuser paper to transfer your laser prints on to your 3D prints.

Hey man, I also reinvented this process recently. I ended up using sublimation paper to print onto. It has I think a think layer of plastic similar to the freezer paper, and also seems to not curl as bad when heated. Makes for a bit quicker process.

Sounds interesting. Do you have a link to the paper?

Holly crap I can't beleive that worked! I just tried it on my Ender 2 pro and with my black and white toner printer. It looks professionally made! This method works so much better then the acetone or the heat method combined.

Great for control panels, I used this process to make some buttons for an arcade machine ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hP2AyyRsXhE.html

Is there any modifications done to the printer, i would assume by lack of knowledge that it is not "burned" on the to plastic as normal?
@JWNZ

The printer is a 100% stock hardware ender 3 v2. The toner is just transfered by heat.

Have you tried this with normal white printer paper ?
@JWNZ
@JWNZ 3 месяца назад
I haven't. It will probably work, but not as much will be transferred.

I was trying it with normal paper when I found this video. It worked okay. Afterwards I rinsed off residual bits of paper with warm water. Running the paper through the 3D printer twice might increase the amount of toner and therefore the amount of transfer. I added transparency film to my shopping list, but standard printer paper does work in a pinch.

Now i am wondering which method is better. Teaching Tech's method or this one 🤔 this one here looks way more simple
@JWNZ
@JWNZ 3 месяца назад
That is the one that uses water? I did try that and the results were pretty much identical.

Can i do this with ink printer?
@JWNZ
@JWNZ Год назад
No, inkjets print into paper with air curing where as toner machines print onto paper using heat. The process effectively melts the toner again and transfers it to the plastic.

@JWNZ

@@microfilm1001 Well I am glad you didn't waste your money just for this purpose. You will need a toner-based printer, unfortunately, they are a lot more expensive. I got a second-hand one for $20.

I tried this with sublimation paper. It works but the sublimation paper warped under the print which made the surface bumpy. Next time I'll try it with the clear lamination paper.
