appreciate the planting instructions; would be helpful to see how to dig it up in the beginning.

Coming soon there will be another video finding free trees. This video how ever was very easy to dig up mostly by pulling on them gently. The ground is very sandy loam and was very easy to remove. I got you though video will be coming soon and I will show more details on digging them up

I yanked a baby sapling out of my raised bed while weeding before I realized what I was doing 😢 don't do what I did (although I am hoping she lives!)

Great time to pick up trees and bushes on sale. In the way home I bought six more fruit trees. See next video. I’m also setting up to erect my greenhouse.

👍👍❤️ Good luck... My one cautionary word would be to know the difference between a Norway Maple and a Sugar Maple. The Norway can be confused with both the Sugar and Red maples at times, but it can become quite invasive, and when full grown, it's canopy is much thicker and blocks more sunlight... (It can be tapped for syrup however)

This is super helpful! We just moved into our first home and there's a Norway sapling under the deck!! Along with a Hawthorne baby. I wanted to know when the best time is to transplant cause I want to save them and get some shade in the yard eventually. Should I ait till the fall?

Just my opinion but I like doing late planting. Early October or late September even late October if the ground is still soft. However you can do it now but you have keep it watered. When digging up just avoid killing as many roots as you can. Glad the video was helpful. I never wait. I do it as soon as I can with time permitting. Cheers hopes this helps. Let me know how it works out.

Did the trees survive?

So far. One is struggling. One got its roots eaten by a vole. One died through winter when a snow drift crushed it. One I hit with the brush attachment. The rest are growing well and healthy. The half that where left in pots are still alive and will be planted this fall. This is why I had spares. Cheers
