This is called "creative visualization". its a part of manifetation. keep going bro u gon change the world. hopefully someday we can have a talk about this type of stuff
i think it boils down to optimistic vs pessimistic mindset. you can see yourself as someone who is new to music and who has potential instead of someone who is new to music and has no experience and skills
exactly. when i was younger i was able to spit out really good beats left and right but then i stop and then suddenly i couldnt anymore. I tried to make beats again but i couldnt. then i took a break and a few months later i was able to make beats again
Yes but it’s still quite different, it means that in order to develop an optimistic/positive mindset, we need to specifically focus on changing day by day this self concept that holds you back. Finding the reason of an issue lets us find a solution for it
@@TiBO_Uke I agree with what you said. I was holding myself back and trying to make something that I wanted instead of doing it for the sake of making music. There is a balance in between and I find that taking a break from making music helps me get to this state.
been making music since I was 16, but now that I'm 24 I feel more connected with music more than I ever have. Its all about confidence, consistency and staying true to yourself. Everything takes time, I think at first we expect support from friends, or our song to sound Radio ready but the longer we make music the more reality sets in. We all have our own journey, and you gotta embrace it!
There's a little truth to this idea but tbh most of these kids just haven't put the work in to get good, I've made probably 400 songs in the last 5 years and I'm finally starting to make good music right now. It's a long road, it just takes time. You don't see the progress in small increments but every year your gonna look back on your old songs and see how far you've come. The one thing that will get you to making better music is to just keep going, make shitty songs until they start to sound less shitty. I know people who make straight horrible music who think they're dope, people who have put no time into this shit and tell everyone to checkout the 10 songs they've made their entire lives. Making lots of songs is more important than just believing your good, reality is that for a long time you just straight up aren't good. But as long as you realize your standards of a good song are higher than what you are making then you have something to stay working towards. It comes with time as long as you don't give up and really love it.
Yeah I was thinking something similar when he said "maybe every once in a while I would make a good song" and I was thinking yeah that's just how it works lmao. I'm glad people are sharing their opinions in video form, I'm sure it helps a lot of newcomers not feel alone. But yeah at the end of the day you're going to made a ridiculous amount of bad music before you make good music, so the "quickest" way to improve is to just keep relentlessly creating
I'm gonna be honest, this is a really lame, miserable mindset to have. I feel like if someone is happy with the music they are making and they feel confident and invigorated from it, then they are already on the right track. YOU may not like it, but they are probably appealing to a niche that isn't meant for you... it's not necessarily "objectively bad", like you basically try to claim here, it's just different. All music is different and each type of music should be held to a different standard. In the end, you should not be doing music for other people... you should be doing it for you first. If you are not making yourself feel good with your music, then you have failed. Maybe these people you talk of are making the music they always wanted to make, the exact perfect image of it... and if they were to change it, then it would be dishonest to the standard they've been trying to achieve. Confidence in what you do is EVERYTHING with all kinds of art, and is what ends up birthing the best art. Full self actualization through art. Edit: I also feel as if this mindset you are preaching here discourages people to try new weird out there things. When that is something so important to the process. You got to try everything to know which sound you want to make for yourself.
It’s lowkey manifestation he’s talkin about it is life changing advice. Raw talent can only take you so far but put with belief (what he talking about in the video) & hard work you could go far.
That stuff ain't low-key ever. Magic is a lot more real than most give credit to. This is why I tend to get more from spiritual RU-vid channels that draw from and expand ancient magical practices more than most "how to" music videos and channels
The saying “believe and achieve” is said because it’s true… we are creators of our own reality. If you believe your a super star your will become one, same goes if you think you suck at something you will do because you put that belief in place yourself. Change your thought patterns and mindset ✌🏼
Wow, what's crazy is that this is already embedded in my brain. Even when the video started I was like "nah my music is really good" Little story here. A couple months back I got heavy into Michael Jackson, and when I would sing I had this mindset that my singing was as good as MJ in the moment, and after keeping this mindset for awhile I actually could do things that The Weekend couldn't even do, but overall I didn't sound better then the Weekend, but just some things were better. Like I was singing a cover of Starboy for test reasons and realized my singing had quite a bit more character and vibrato than The Weeknd when comparing back and forth, and I even used an AI to transform my singing into The Weeknd, and wow... it was indeed better. I've been on and off singing for around 14 years, and when I look back at older recordings a lot of stuff I made is pretty bad, even though in the moment I thought they was good. But these days, the music I'm working on ain't good, but absolutely amazing... to the point where I listen to my own demo songs daily. I really can't wait to make an album worth of songs, high quality amazing songs. There's one main thing holding me back me back 95% of the time though, and that's not having anywhere to record vocals. One day soon my dad will help me convert half the shed outback into a music studio, were only talking about 6x10 in size, but that's all I need. I just hope it can be done sooner, I'm paying for all the materials and even told my dad I'd pay him, but the process is just taking really long. It's really killing me not being able to record vocals at any time I want. I feel like my talents are wasting away.
This has got to be the first time I've heard this advice and I must say that you're right. I used to be really shy and embarrassed about my music but now when i record I believe I'm one of the greatest artists of all time and when I'm feeling confident the music flows out better. But I also did make music almost everyday and released a song every week for 11 months and a mixture of that and confidence is what's gotten me to where I am now in music
Started doing this recently. SUPER helpful in all areas of life, keeps my mind clear of my goals and who I want to be. When I visualize myself going to produce and making a song one day, 99% of the time I will sit down and literally make something. Not something perfect, but done is better than perfect. And its that initial commitment to just DO that stops people from learning and getting better imo.
What I always say is that you'll never write a good song if you don't write a song. You think different thoughts every single day, imagine how many absolute bangers you'd have made if you wrote a single song every day.
This is very true. You need the thought of actually doing something in order to do it or else you simply won’t do it because you need a thought to manifest literally anything. Sounds crazy but it’s really simple at the same time lol. Good stuff 💯
Bro I can not tell you how much you are helping me. I swear bro I’m going to get on my way. the way you speak about this music is so relatable, appreciate you so much.
Do not stop what you are doing. I aspire to be a Musician/artist one day. Learning this stuff through my process has helped immensely. Keep on your path and learn all about who you are, we will change the way music works. Respects❤️
So true bro. A super effective way of doing this is not just creating the positive thoughts but also the emotions which align with the thoughts. Then it becomes ABSOLUTELY real. That is the key in everything. align the thought and emotion into your new version. You are not becoming new, you ARE new.
fire vid , comin in clutch with underrated life advice fr. nobody talks about this stuff but i did this to become a good dj playing at weddings and bars
This is some great advice man! Positive thinking Is essential when it comes to stuff like this and sometimes you need to take it less seriously and just have fun again. I feel like how I did when I first discovered fl studio after changing my mindset! The only person stopping you from achieving your dreams is yourself. I personally find that Nick Mira really inspires me to make beats.
The one similarity between with all the charismatic and creative people is that they treat themselves like they are. All the lonely and miserable people in life stay that way because they treat themselves like that. That's exactly why affirming yourself things make them literally happen. Just treat yourself well and be positive about youself, it's that simple.
I like to ask the question "How are you gonna be successful if you're too scared to be yourself?" It really puts into perspective just how important it is to take time and work on the mental rather than just the physical.
yeh i was making shi dropping shi but tbh i just started archiving old stuff and trying to drop even betterrr. cuz ive always wrote songs but i never dropped, but all the writing and time spent just making songs not releasing anything even those “not even a full start to the song”type of projects they made me better and instead of dropping bs i take a break find inspiration and really really try hard to make every song now. its better. it sounds better. it’s taken in by the listeners even better. its all in how u view yourself. if ur gonna break urself down at least rebuild dont kill your passion because your uncomfortable with how you sound KEEP GOING MAKE IT SOUND BETTER TILL U GET IT its called crafting for a reasonn
to people thinking he's bsing, he is telling the truth. once i started lying to myself that my suckass music was good, it actually slowly became reality
I'm not a musician, but this video popped up in my recommendations, so I decided to watch it. It's a nice approach to improving self-image, though personally, I rely on noticeable improvements to believe in myself. For instance, as a video editor and graphic designer, seeing people appreciate my work and receiving requests for more content boosts my confidence. Similarly, witnessing progress at the gym bolsters my belief in my abilities. Nonetheless, your idea is good and I found the video enjoyable. As a suggestion, adding some B-roll footage could enhance the overall quality of your video.
I already make good music but it took years. The process of learning how to mix, master, write melodies and arrange is tough. Always look forward to improving your sound and have a learners mentality. ❤
“In the beginning was the word…” it all starts with how you talk to yourself, everything, not just music. Manifestation is real and it works. I just have to actually apply it haha 😂
4:17 fax , but on the other side when you also think you’re the best at everything it sometimes also hurts improvement rather then not thinking you’re good enough n trying better
this is unironically big fax i played guitar all when i was a kid and though i was a musical prodidgy or sum shi when i started sending out beats to rappers i backed myself so much to make something good i believed i could turn up every time which i could. but then i made a few shit beats that noone wanted and lost my sauce, good vid
i thought my computer died at the end🤣. But man thank you for your time and sharing this information. I really believe this is gonna change my life and make me a really good singer. Thank you man !
