How to Tune Tiberius T8.1 to Max Power? Tutorial!

Showing you how to tune a Tiberius T8.1 paintball marker (pistol) to the max power. Yes it seems scary to do but that is what I did to get it to the max power. It's max shooting at about 28 to 30 joules, but yes you can tone it down to 25 for a more stable performance. We are shooting breaker balls in this video, and they are 6.2g each, while paint is 2.9 to 3 grams each. If you are to shoot paint (3g) with this power, it will fly about 450 fps.

Wat up love your vidz u the best homie u should get the rifle conversion kit I seen a few of them make the 8.1look sick there is a scar stock kit a m4 stock kit and even mp7 they look nice and snug looking u feel me

And yes the t4 is better but we don't got money like that I'm gonna save up but something newer always comes out do u think it's worth saving up for the t 4

So today im shooting the t8.1 and first i charged it and the co2 was leaking.. then i dropped the mag put it back in and it was fine.. then i was shooting then the trigger stopped working. So i backed the power off a little and it was fine, then i fire a couple rounds and the mag dropped by itself into my lap lol so i put er back in and it shot fine but it was acting weird today.. any ideas why, nice warm day and everything.. i feel that i may have gotten a little lube happy lol maybe?

Could you turn the t8.1 into a sniper! If so, what stuff wouldn't need to adapt it and would I be as powerful yet still efficient?

Wait a second, you want it to be a sniper for games or for target shooting? Games, you cannot tune it to this power, it's not allowed. For target shooting, yes you can of course. But there is the T4.1 that is like a totally badass sniper already. The power on the gun can go up to 33 joules!

Hi Mak, I recently got a T8.1 and thought I'll try tuning it as suggested. Unfortunately the co2 leaks as soon as I insert the mag :-( I've tried lubing and even changed the O-Ring in the air chamber. Any other ideas? It's the T8.1 Socom if that helps

I COUDNT FIX MY 8.1 , I ADJUSTED IT AND TURNED IT UP TO HIGH ,THEN I BACKED THE INNER SMALL ALLEN OOT TO MUCH A ND COULNT FIX IT,SO I SENT IT BACK AND GOT A 9.1 CQB AND HAVENT MESSED WITH IT ...DO NOT BACK SMALL ADJUSTER OUT TOO MUCH

I have an idea for you . if you keep the c02 warm by placing it in a pouch with a hand warmer it will sound off with even more power

oring is oring, it's not the brand issue, it's the size that matches or not, if size is correct then it is fine

Messing with that valve while the gun is charged always causes me problems. Also, I actually partially shattered 2 breaker balls into glass powder when they hit each other at 275 FPS. BTW - I can take a thermal imaging pic of the CO2 cartridge if you want to "see" how cold it gets.

set the relieve valve all the way in yet? if not, then you will have problems of course. I have no problem shooting mine at the 300 fps range with breaker balls, using Co2. You can tune that up even more if you are at the 275 range. I know it's cold! The Co2 gets frozen up in 8 shot! LOL! Have you try the 300 range FPS with breakers? It's scary nice kicking! The breaker do shatter if your trap is built with blankets... cuz they eat the balls and not slide down. You can try to get something to make the ball slide down so they don't die so fast. LOL Next alternative rounds is the 3.9g riot balls, they are hard rubber and won't shatter. I LOVE those rounds because they are hard and durable! Using them on my TIPX, Spydies and so on! My Spyder guns got upgraded too, now they shoot about the 16-18 joules mark with those riot balls, and ya, FULL AUTO!

Chiinnature I didn't have the tiny relief valve screw tightened because I wasn't originally aware it was necessary, but will do that next time I shoot. Didn't get to 300 yet since 283 was pretty loud. I do have a couple riot rounds, but prefer not to mix up my ammo. It's just sucking that I keep losing these expensive breaker balls. I've been firing at phone books, cardboard, foam, and thick sheet metal...

Erich Moraga You will need to tighten down the relieve valve if you are shooting high power, or else adjusting that power up and down a bit will cause you to have leaks. I know that very well and it's not consistent with the power output at that level too. So tighten it up and it will perform well for you in the high power zone. I just shut it all the way and it's doing fine until now, no problem. Yes the 283 is loud, LOL! You can just shoot with the riot rounds and enjoy some "durable rounds" shooting, breaker balls can be left for shooting crazy objects, hahahahaa! Usually when you can get 270fps with breakers, you get like 330-350 with riot balls, and they are durable!

***** at 275 fps with breaker balls, you are going about 22 joules, still very deadly and the impact on phonebook and metal is still going to be very scary

Got a leak on the inside of my tiberius T8.1 . As soon as I put in the clip all my co2 leaks out. What o rings should I target? Any help appreciated. Happened after I tried tuning it. One shot and it leaks out the complete co2

MrBigant18 the oring is lacking grease, it's the air chamber o-ring that is located inside the bolt. Disassemble the gun and you will see it blown out and sticking to the inside of your bolt. Take it out and grease it up with silicone grease, and then put it back into the air chamber tube opening and you can ssee a groove there.. after it fits back in place the gun will work again.

Everytime I put co2 in and puncture it releases all co2. Wat am I doing wrong?

co2 going out the barrel? you blew the o-ring out from the air chamber, disassemble the gun first, take out the guts and you see inside the bolt you should have a clear o-ring there, take it out and grease it with silicone grease, and then put it back to the air chamber thru the head (the back piece) and there is a "groove" for it to sit on, Relube and assimble back, you are fine, just one oreing out of position because lack of grease or the oring is old

haha, no worry, I just dealt with this gun too much, this is one of the most common problem that can happen to your gun if you don't grease it well or the grease is outdated. Remember to shoot your gun at least 1 co2 every month with some pellgunoil on the tip of your co2, that way your gun stay lubed and can work for a long time. If you like you can disasseemble and change o-rings or grease it every year once if nothing bad happen, that way you can make sure it works all the time. You can buy the repair kit online too, and it includes a lot of parts that you might want to keep handy, just in case!

out of the box is about 10 joules about, very weak, for paintball games is okay

Hmm......for self defense purposes this would be a major problem,...only 4 or 5 rapid shots a maximum power?? 7:00

it isn't a major problem. Any co2 guns will die out in power if rapid fire. That's the same with ANY airguns from HPA/PCP to Co2. Just to mention - a revolver only have 6 shots too. If you cannot end the problem in that 4-5 shots, either you suck, or you are dead already. It's not paintball game that we are playing, we are talking about real life defense situation. A guy got shot in the chest 2x (double tap) and he was on the ground crying for 15mins while cops coming (south africa real case) and that was just a rubberball, not even anything harder. That's 2 shots, only.
