Great video. Thank you putting the time and effort into making it so we could enjoy it. Pretty please, with sugar on top, please make the Jag video. As well..., you wife should be sainted by now!
@@TheRealKazma I bypassed the Fuel Pump Module in the trunk. With the key on it received power and then that signal gets sent to the stock fuel pump harness. The fuel pump was on when the key was on which is "hotwired". Technically the "right" way to do it is have the GM PCM control the fuel pump. I think there is an output on the GM PCM to trigger the pump. That way, if you're in an accident, when the engine stops running the fuel pump will shut off.
@@nsogiba so in my case I’m using Holley would it be more beneficial to dig deeper and find the signal wire to the fuel pump and supply it to the ecu? And additionally with getting keyed power to the Holley would I need to splice into the ignition switch?
The Holley already provides a fuel pump output which makes it easier. Depending on how big your pump(s) are you can use that signal to trigger the fuel pump module in the trunk or just go directly to the pump harness on the tank. If you're using pumps with higher current draw you'll use that signal to trigger a relay. @@TheRealKazma
@@nsogibaWhat exactly did you have to do for the transmission crossmember? Was that the most fabricating that this project needed? (pre turbo, at least)
Damn, this was an awesome video up until fate of the vehicle. How come you didn’t just let it rust some more lol. Awesome build though. Pretty sure mines a rusty piece of crap underneath but Idc. Swapped a limited slip rear end on mine last summer and it didn’t seem too bad, definitely ain’t got no rockers though.
Great job man, that turned out Awesome! Do you know if the swap would be pretty much the same for an older panther platform? I have a square panther, 89 town car that I want to swap. From my understanding they are different frames and suspension though. Any advice is appreciated!
I'm looking at building an 08 or newer Crown Vic or Grand Marquis, were there any issues keeping the factory HVAC and Airbags etc? Were there any issues keeping all the factory chassis electronics working?
Did the motor mount low to the crossmember, could it have been lower? Im gonna have hood clearance issues and also want my weight low… LSA with huge lid spacer and intake spacer..
