Unscripted Life Liberty and pursuit of entrepreneurship by MJ Demarco . This is best book I have ever read about entrepreneurship , happiness, philosophy, self help and Thinking right mindset
Thank you for the summary of this book, Rick! When I founded our business 5 years ago, I was totally naive with these info, because I have changed my career from nursing to business, and even until now, I am continuously learning. It has been a wonderful experience since then and I totally agree with what the book has presented. At this stage, we continue to learn on ways on how to effectively manage a team of 70. To add into that, it is of prime importance to get the right people who can fit in the culture definitely. I appreciate your content tremendously!
Yes, my experience has been the same. I didn't understand this formula when building several businesses, but in hindsight I wish I understood this structure much earlier. Always more to learn! :)
Hey Rick. This is the best video I came across on any Entrepreneur channel. I would like to see more on how to get more customers when you are a startup
I recommend Traction by Gabriel Weinberg and Marketing Made Simple by Donald Miller. Two great books that can help with attracting and converting more customers!
@@RickKettner Thanks Rick. I actually read both of them and have 5 Pages notes on each. I got both of them last month after watching your previous videos.. Thank you so much for adding so much value to my start-up journey
Very apt, valuable, and insightful content across genres. Helpful in making informed reading selections. This channel is one of a kind. Thank you for all the well-guided catalogue-style videos. As an experienced user experience (UX) designer, was wondering if there could be some useful (intermediate-advance) book suggestions covering Design, Innovation, Strategy, Digital Transformation for Industry 4.0 and such similar topics that oversee innovations in businesses through effective designs. Thanks.
So far the closest I've come to any of those topics would be my list of top product management books, but I'm not sure if they cover what you are looking for. Sounds like an interesting subject for me to further research at some point in the future. Thank you for the suggestion!
Great content as usual Rick! I really love the idea of breaking it down into the main concepts to have better understanding what this book is all about
Rick why dont you make a video about Clubhouse, I think we're all very curios how they did it and more importantly WHY they chose this idea. Would make for a great video
Two books that come to mind include (1) The Start-Up J Curve by Howard Love and (2) Never Split The Difference by Chris Voss. The first has all kinds of practical startup tips, including many insights into when and how to bring investors on board. The book isn't about investors, but includes those tips among many others that are helpful. The second is focused more on negotiation and how to better understand the position and perspective of the other side.
@@RickKettner thanks, I read them both and have always a copy of those books but to have your video will be amazing. Your style of explaining topics are amazing
