How to unlock a freightliner cascadia semi truck

That really worked my husband lock the doors by accident I seen you video after locksmith told me 200.00 I got on RU-vid went outside asked him for another truck key told him that this would work I kinda gave me side eye I told him to be patient go back to driver side let me do it he was doing it but frustrated while he was on the other side I got it open the first time so I got in the truck while looking at him thru the driver window HE CALLED ME THIEF 😂15 seconds Thank you for making the video

This just came in handy, thank you... i was at a truck parking for my 30, where a lady locked herself out, another driver was trying to help her by wedging the door open but no luck, i just happened to youtube to see if there is anything i could do to help/advise, came across ur vid, went asked for permission to try, and within 1 minute voila... again thank you.

Had my tools, power tools, extra small parts and other belongings stolen from my Cascadia without any windows broken which made me search on youtube on how someone able to open the door without the key. Thanks for showing this, now I have to take extra precautions to secure my stuff and definitely have an alarm system installed.

I spent about 15 minutes back and forth from driver to passenger side. I thought this was BS but finally I did get it to work! 🎉 thanks for the video. The best part was calling the locksmith (who was in route) to cancel😂

Watched this video few months ago out of curiosity. About a month ago I went to Carrier refrigeration for a pickup. I parked my truck after backing up in the dock. Next to me was an other truck finishing loading. I see the driver coming over to my side...showing me something, he looked very worried..I roll down the window...he asks me if I speak Spanish, I said sorry I dont. He then shows me that he locked himself out while the engine running..I was like I cant help.....when he left my side it suddenly came back to me that I watched your video. I walked over with my key, I said I "know how to open it" lol I started wiggling the key the way you showed here..and magic, the door opened like a charm...the young Mexican guy was in tears by then, he was so thankful, hugged me, shook my hand. I was so happy for him. It must have been a nightmare realizing that you don't have spear key with you.

Buddy, I want to thank you. You saved me $75 dollars. I told my dispatcher that I might need a locksmith to open the truck and she informed me that I would have to pay the bill. I told her not to worry about it because I would get them out. Well,the old hanger wasn't working too well so I took a look at youtube. A few minutes later I had the keys out of the truck and now I will keep the spare on my personal key ring. Thanks again as you saved me a good amount of money.

Thanks man..That worked..I just used my Cascadia key to open a drivers Kenworth door..About 2 minutes of jiggling the key, all the way in and back out and BAM!!...That shit worked!..You are the Man!!

I just used another operators key for my freight liner tractor… I lock myself out at the receivers warehouse…. With a little wiggle and consistency I managed to open my locked driver side door… save me time and money! Thanks for the post! It really works y’all!

I called for Penskey road side help and no one could get base clearance..sat down on the side of the building for hours .Finally found your video and seen another driver pull up with a freightliner. Locked my key today. Tried lockout kit, no good. Then I saw that you can remove a panel in the ignition on RU-vid but that seemed to much work. Saw a swift driver and with his 2023 model truck key got it open passenger side. Praise God! Thanks for this tip! Had that super good feeling when things actually work out.

This absolutely works. Just had a driver stranded. I saw this video first on RU-vid took about 10 seconds.

It works. Might take 10 - 15 minutes of wiggling, but eventually it'll open. Have to get a bit aggressive with it to work, but not to aggressive to the point that you snap the key off in the lock. No guarantee that this works using different brand of truck key. More likely to work using key of same make and model truck. Most Important Part, TRY THIS METHOD ON PASSENGER SIDE DOOR. DRIVER SIDE DOOR IS HARDER TO UNLOCK WITH THIS METHOD. Good Luck to anyone with key locked inside truck. And thanks for this video.

OMG, hilarious. I did this for a guy who locked himself out just now. He was trying to slim jim his driver side, I did this on his passenger side and got in. He didn't believe it, so after he unlocked everything he had me do it again so I did with a small audienceof drivers. It just takes some jiggling and raking the key in and out.

Thanks to this video it bail me out of a big problem lock my self out of my truck literally just now on Sunday evening and after getting soak and wet was about to give up and the I look at this video and try it Someone else let me Barrow their key and it work appreciate the video

I had to beg three different drivers to let me try this with their key before one let me but it worked! I can at least say this still works for modern freightliners! Make sure to try both doors for a good while. Took me 2 minutes on the driver side door with a freightliner key I borrowed from another driver after it not working on the passenger side for like 5 minutes

It works... just used this video to help another driver get into his truck.

This is why I use the seat belts around the door arm and latch them nice and tight.
