How to unlock your DiM Cards - Digimon Vital Bracelet

So i received a faulty bracelet which i had to send back to supplier but then i already plugged in my volcanic beat in it, so almost 2months later they sent me a brand new one and I can't use the volcanic beat anymore until that is after i followed these steps and now i have my beloved digimon back uwu

As someone who pre-ordered one of these and also considered one for my BF as well this is actually very useful information to know as this very thought about what if we wanted to use the same Dim Card came to mind. Glad toknow that there is a away for both of us to use the same Dim's without needing to buy multiple copies of said Dim.

Although my bracelet was a different model so the factory menu was different and had to look elsewhere for instructions, this still gave me a the reassurance that the dim I bought online wasn’t a scam and just needed to be reset

Yo, this is amazing. I feel way less uncomfortable about my choice to buy another V-Bracelet and send my current one to a friend once I get it. Now all I need is an NFC enabled smartphone and I'll have zero problems.

This is awesome!! I’ve tried it several times and doesn’t seem you have to press b twice when you do and the part where you put in the dim, if it fails, just reinsert instead of doing the steps again, but thats from my tries so far

For firmware "21 0428" using steps for "21 0225" will work, I just confirmed this.

That's cool!! My jaw is dropping to the person who found this method. However, I also have my own method, and really work. Follow this 1. Your screen mustn't have any digimon 2. Put dim card inside slowly but not fully (likely put it inside the socket just a half way or adjust the dim until the waiting is on the screen, maybe a lot of failed) And you can do this many times as you want

I'm not sure if it's related but, after doing your steps and I reached the final screen to insert the DiM, mine said it failed so I assumed this technique couldn't work with mine but then after a few minutes I tried inserting it over and over again (lol) and by the third try it could read my DiM again XD

I have been considering starting a collection, haveing the same watch with every digimon possible on it. Of course, it seemed impossible until I found this out. Thank you Edit: After looking at the document, I found out I am screwed. I have the Red Dinosaur Roar and if I understand it correctly, it will not give the factory settings. If you guys ever figure out a new way to cheese things, please do tell.

This is definitely going to be fantastic for close friends trading new mons thing. Does it work on a Vice-V? Or still only for the Vital Bracelet as of today?

Luckily you won’t need this anymore with the digivice V coming out since can be used by up to three digivice Vs (or two if you already used the dim on an original VB)

I just received both the mad black roar and true shadow howl from an online store I thought to be reputable. However I tried using both Dim cards and they both give me the failed Message, as if they have already been used. I havent finished the video yet but hoping this helps.

So my VB the shell screen cracked and broke out leaving the actual screen exposed. If I do this can I transfer my current Digimon to a new VB or will I lose him?

I may have to try this. My Digivice V for some reason won't read my Angoramon DIM that I've had since release. It goes through the entire waiting screen, then just says failed. And that's the only DIM card it does it with.

I get a similar screen with my Ancient Warriors DiM all of a sudden. I've used it on my yellow bracelet and my v series before but now all of a sudden when I plug it into my v series it loads to three flashing dots and then says Failed. Is this something that would help fix that or does anyone have any suggestions? I literally just used it on the same bracelet a few months ago...

my bracelet randomly rest so i am locked out of my dim now is there away to fix it when i can't put a dim in? and no i was not trying to unlock my dim also i am pissed as i can't unlock my dim unless i get another dim so great i have a useless paper weight now

Wait, this _permanently_ unlocks the DiM? Like if I do this to one of my DiMs I can then use it on my VBDM, Digivice V and all three Vital Heroes without having to unlock it again in between? I assumed unlocking it just deleted the link to the VB(s) it was already linked to and allowed you to link it to a new one/three.

What if it doesn't make a sound to check the firmware?

So, does this work with the first vital bracelet? Mine is the yellow one tha was for preorder and came with the greymon blue demo dim (only 1 digivolution line) and the imperialdramon dim

Whelp. Still stuck at getting into firmware screen due to...no sound indicator, cause the solder isn't stick onto the speaker anymore, resolder and doesn't even have voice hmmm. Anyway, I noticed when turn on while pressing A+B, the screen lights up for about 2 sec, and pressing B 4x as fast as I could doesn't bring to the firmware screen.

i just got one, and the method of turning it on to see the firmware version just turns it on? and doesnt show me any firmware version... the card im trying to get to work is brand new and directly from amazon just like my bracelet itself and the dim cards that are working so i have no idea what to do to get this one to work. any advice???

1. Once the dim card has been locked to a different bracelet, what does this mean for the first bracelet the dim was paired with? For example, will the dim fail in the original bracelet now? 2. I'm curious on how this dim card unlock method affects the app? Does this mean that one dim card can be registered to two Digimon VB lab accounts? This is all I can think of for questions.

Can anyone tell me which tv series uses the bracelet? (and if it’s streaming anywhere)? I’m having a hard time sorting that out.

What if the dim says failed and not normal

I had some info I want to share on the durability of the device. I might have just gotten lucky but the vb may be slightly more waterproof than is implied. My bracelet got caught on a door and flew right into the tub I was filling up for my son. I quickly freaked out and pulled it out (it was completely submerged) for maybe 5 seconds before I grabbed it. Quickly shut it off and let it sit for a few days. Opened it up for better airflow and to help drying a bit and voila! Still works perfectly (for now anyway lol) Random question tho: This was my first run through and my Boutmon should have evolved into Kazuchimon. I had all the prereq's with 6 minutes remaining (his mental was bad so maybe that's why?) but he didn't evolve at all and his timer reset. Any ideas as to why?

so after raising 1 digimon, I can transfer it to the app, and do this method, I can raise another evolution line on the same VB?

ive done both methods even a factory reset and my Mad Black Roar just instantly fails upon inserting it into both of my devices
