Was trying to find the best video to help me update my bios without a stupid flash drive and this was the best help i’ve gotten. I love the fact that it was step by step with no missing information and when i got stuck on the ez update the comments helped out.

Thanks man this helped a lot. I was trying do it with the guidance of asus support where they had me use myasus and do it through there but ai suite 3 was so much easier. This being the 1st time ive ever updated bios by myself u made it very easy and walked through every step. Very good work!

Massive thanks. I've heard of horror stories doing this. My cpu fan for some reason has stopped going lower then 60% and everything pointed at updating the bios. It was heart dropping but with your video all went smoothly. I juat hope that my cpu fan will start working normally again

Just watched video a few times to make sure i done everything correctly. Update went smoothly a lot easier then the old days with DOS Bios flashing, had to enable CSM for boot drive also had re-enable XMP so my ram was detected as 3600mhz thanks for video

This is much easier & less tedious than using the usb flash drive method. I successfully updated my ASUS TUF Gaming X570 WIFI Plus motherboard to the latest version & works like a charm! :D Plus AI Suite is easily downloadable from Armoury Crate Software, that came free with my motherboard :)

Love it when creators make these step by step processes for pc builders. Wish they did this for everything: installing parts, software updates, how to turn off any unnecessary background apps, properly testing your pc and how to under volt/tune your pc.

No EZ update appears in the utility

I just bought better ram, and it wasn't working well, so I was told to update the bios, hopefully this fixes it but thank you for the quick and easy instruction

I recently updated to latest Bios on my Asus Prime Z590-A. One thing I noticed is that Resizable Bar was now enabled by default, as it was disabled previously and i was planning to update Bios before using it.

For some reason, I cannot install EZ update. It was not included in the list of programs during the initial setup. Can anyone help?

Thanks for the Great tutorial, I have been a little afraid to try this till I found your youtube tutorial. Followed your instructions and all went well. My 2018 Asus bios in now updated to 2022. But now I have a new icon in the system tray and when I click on it I have an error that states (the Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver is missing or has not been installed correctly), don't know what that is, everything seems to be working ok. What do you think that error message means. Thanks I would never have tried this without your tutorial. Well Done!!

when you changed your mobo, did you reinstall a fresh windows? or the old windows 11 in your SSD still works prior for this BIOS update?

Easy update not available with ai suite 3 today??

I have just updated my bios on my Asus Tuf B550 plus, I have a ryzen 5 5600x and have just purchased a ryzen 7 5800x3d. Would this bios update mean I can drop in the new cpu when it lands and it all work straight away?

Should i pick the most updated BIOS version for my mobo on the list? Or should i take the ones that go before the latest bios update?

Any idea why EZ update won’t recognize the new bios CAP file? When I tried to use the auto update it’s also saying there’s no update for my bios but I’m 3 years behind…

did all these steps but now every time i want to boot i get that screen where it says something about ftp firmware and i have to choose to press y or n. i pressed n as im afraid of pressing y as it says it wont let me boot if i dont have some recovery thing which i dont. i press n andd then it lets me boot into windows. is there any way i can get rid of this screen from appearing everytime i boot up my pc? please help me thanks

Hi 👋 I have a Strix Z590-E. Asus website says to download and update "Intel Me" first. I did that. That seemed to work. Then when I download the new bios file. It tells me to rename using the "rename tool". That seemed to work also. But then after following the whole process with AI Suite 3. Uploading the bios file / flash etc. The computer restarts, but nothing changes after restart. Still have to same bios in system info. In short. It's just not working for me. Not sure why. And I don't think I've been able to get back into my bios after trying the flash a a few times with no change. It let's me go through the process, but then just doesn't do anything... Is my system corrupt?

Did this, aisuite 3 loaded the cap file and it rebooted to a black screen, never launched bios update. Now I'm scared to power cycle if it is simply a display issue and don't want to shut down if it is in fact updating

Hello my name is Bernard and I have a questions regarding my Asus MB i just purchased (TUF Gaming Z690-Plus). I have Win 11 running on it and i'm using the PC for Live Streaming only. For some weird reason my video capture card isn't working properly. Sometimes my streaming software sees it and other times it doesn't. When it does i am able to select and use it but while using it to stream it gives me a black screen every so often which is not good for me. Also on my device manager i see it says Unknown Device but when i try to update it it says i already have the best drivers installed but still gives me the same message. I was wondering if i may need to update the Bios drivers on my Motherboard or no or what may be the cause. The only drivers it has is what i installed from the CD that came with the board. Your help is much appreciated if possible.

i need help with a Tuf gaming H670 pro ddr 4 board when i enable xmp it fails to boot, if i leave it on default its boots if i go to advance n change the freq to 3200 mhz and save it fails to boot is there something im doing wrong or do i need to have the latest Bios and try this again , im skeptical of bios update as my fren system was bricked from a msi board

Sounds easy but when i tryed this few months back on a PRIME Z390-A i was unable to boot to windows again. im pretty sure i did CSM thingy coz i spent hours trying to fix it before even reinstalling old bios and doing clean windows install. Now sinc my bios is outdated i think (not 100% sure) that i cant get the TPM 2.0 in order to get windows 11 and im scared to mess with the bios again.
