What’s the difference between the CSC202TW and the energy plus? I’m trying to decide which one I should purchase for my small basement which is 234 sq ft on the finished side.

+Pmason718 the CSC202 is a 240/208 volt heater only. It provides 2000 Watts of heat at 240 volts and 1500 Watts at 208 volts. It has a built in mechanical thermostat. The CE163T is a 240/208/120 volt heater. It gives you up to 1600 Watts of heat at 240 volts and up to1000 at 120 volts. It comes with a built in digital thermostat. The biggest difference here is the Energy Plus will adjust the amount of heat it provides to keep the room at your set temperature. If you need 200 Watts to keep the room warm, that's how much it provides. It will do the best at keeping your basement at the temperature you set, while using less electricity than the Com-Pak heater. The Com-Pak is either on or off and will change is run time to meet the needs of your room.

+Pmason718 how new is your basement? What kind of insulation and where do you live? That can affect how much heat you'll need to get the basement heated.

Cadet Heat Ok thank you. I think I could benefit from the older Com Pak wattage wise (2000 Watts) but I’m going to go with the Energy Plus (1600) due to its energy efficiency, not sure if 400 Watts will make that much of a difference I don’t know.

I bought a cam-pak twin dual heater.240 v and the fan seems to be running kinda slow not a whole lot of heat is going with the thermostat turned all the way to 80. My electrician wired it to a 240 Amp breaker...
