You're a master with a curling iron. I could only figure out how to use a wand. It's weird because I can only get my hair to curl on left, but when I start curling my right my curls look ugly and flat :(

+Hannah Powell Same brand! It's a tapered wand - wider at the base. It works well but I burnt my neck badly on it so it is a bit more dangerous than a flat iron! Lol :P

This is the first video I watched on how to use a curling iron when I was about 10. I had begged my mom for one and I had no idea how to use it and she didn't either. This video brings back so many memories of trial and error. But I did eventually learn how because of this video!

That is not the healthiest way to curl your hair. If you do you will start to damage the tips( they need the least amount of heat). Start from the top and work your way down. :)

Hi, I curl my hair a few different ways depending on how I want it to look. This way with the curl is mainly at the bottom so the ends will be in there longer. I have other tutorials where I use a wand and keep the ends out. Thanks for watching.

This actually helped me a lot, for the simple fact that my hair is literally the same exact style as yours and I have very thick. Haha, I've been having difficulty figuring out how to curl my hair in a fast easy way, and this helped a lot

Do you wait for the curl to cool before you put your hands in them? Also, trying spraying each section with a working spray or a hair spray to help it stay longer. Hope that helps :-)

This time my hair was clean, but I find that it holds curl better with dirty hair or use a volumizing mousse or gel in your hair before you blow it dry. I hope that helps!
