Guys quick tip, I couldn’t for the life of me figure out why mine wasn’t working. After looking at it for quite some time, I noticed one of the time knobs was up (the 4pm one) causing the time to not work. I had to press on it really hard (almost thought I broke it). It’s working now!!
This multi-plug with a timer must be very old! I got it at the Good Will years ago and couldn't figure out how to set the time, so I tossed it in the junk box. I came across it today with all my experience of looking things up on the internet now and found you in one click. And it's so easy, I'm embarrassed! (My stupidity really shined on this one)!!! (I was looking for a timing mark on the outside diameter of the dial, never thought the arrow in the center was the mark)! But thank you for resurrecting this plug for the third time now. It works flawlessly! THANK YOU!!! 👍👍👍👍👍🖖
How do I differentiate my day and night bulbs? I have my light ones set but how do I adjust for my night ones to come on? Do I have to get another timer to hook my night ones up to?
So the timer controlls all 4 of the timer outlets? For example the timer is set for 12 hours of the day which means all 4 outlets are on during that time then when the timer ends all 4 shut off. Correct?
I’ve set mine 8pm-8am and the tabs are correct but haven’t seen the lights on the “timed outlets” turn off. But I can see the timer is with its current time.
Is the timer supposed to move like a clock, or does it remain stationary at whatever time your set it to? I set mine to 2pm and it hasn't moved and the timer switch is on. Is this a fault?
It will if you don't need the 1/2 section as always on, 1/2 that run on the timer. These Zoo Med ones are built to be pretty durable as well. But most timers will do the job.
Not all people use night lights (you know considering how idiotic and pointless they are) if you want that zilla has a dual timer almost exactly like this except two timed outlets are for day and two are for night.
