I have guessed, without knowing for sure, that the Coravin needle system is vulnerable to a bit dry or second grade corks. Otherwise I believe it to be the absolute best choice.

Great video & thnx so much for all the helpful info! But as a newbie, who is still on the 1st argon capsule, I am struggling with how will I know when it's time to change the capsule? Also, I like to pour a 1/2 glass, then perhaps another 1/2 glass the same evening - can I just leave the coravin inserted into the bottle till I'm thru for the nite, or must I take it our of the bottle each time? Thnx so much!

Do I take out the capsule once I finish using it? Or do I leave until next time? I'm afraid it will evaporate if I leave it on...

Question, I saw in your demonstration that you put the needle directly in the cork and use the argon gas only for pouring the wine. How about the air (with oxygen) in the needle before penetrating the cork? Coravin’s manual shows that a small burst of argon is required before penetrating the cork.

Do you leave it on the bottle while you are drinking it throughout the week or do you remove it after each nightly use? What way keeps the wine the most fresh?
