Hi Bhashitha, The number on the lancet device means the piercing depth, for example 1 meaning low depth and 5 being high depth. If your skin is very soft then setting 1 can be appropriate and if skin is very rough then 5 being appropriate.

HI means the blood sugar level is too high. Sometimes this error can also be due to spoiled strips. Can you pls try using a new strip from a fresh container and perform test. If ‘HI’ appears always then it’s recommended to perform glucose test in a certified lab and consult a doctor.
