Thanks for the video dude. I just got an el gato gifted to me as I just started streaming. Do you think I am better off buying the audio cable and trying to use my hyper x headset? Or should I buy a separate USB mic? Trying to do whatever is the least of a hassle. I'm reading sooo many conflicting things online.

I have a Macbook Pro 2019, i have an adapter for USB ports. My sound cuts in and out constantly and i have no idea how to fix it. Im trying to stream games from my switch if that changes anything.
looks like many others and myself have the NDI plugin downloaded but when we get to streamlabs it doesn’t show up but it does in the elgato capture hd what do we do next?
I have installed OBS link on my MacBook Pro. I followed all the steps in your video but for some reason I still cant get NDI Source in Streamlabs when I want to add a source. Any ideas on what could be the problem? I have even uninstalled everything and started fresh but still no luck. I would really appreciate any help.

Thank you, I’m trying to do this on my MY Mac using Remote Play an not have to get a Capture card as I’m playing on a TV mount on my wall and not a monitor. So I’m not closes to the TV at all.
This really helped out a lot but I have like a 3-5 second delay from my PS4 to streamlabs. Do you have any tips that could help me that’s the only problem I have and the reason I haven’t started to stream.
The reasoning is because the HD 60s will always have a delay 3-5 secs that’s why HD 60s + is so much better for mac and in general 0 to none input delay perfect for streaming but it’s pricey going for 200$
anyone know why i can't get this to work with my nintendo switch? i've tried every fix i can find for my mac and nothing works, i just get stuck on the "searching for signal" blue screen (when it actually lets me choose my obs link source in the first place, that is)

anyone know how to get by the black screen issue? I'm using an M1 Mac book pro with only usbc ports and have the legato hd60s+. I can hear the audio perfectly fine through both laptop and tv but both have a black screen.
To answer some people’s question: no, it’s not an M1. You can tell by the mere fact that it has a USB-A slot. And for those who r having trouble with obs link and M1. OBS link is currently not compatible with Apple silicon. I am sadly using my 2013 mbp to stream over my m1 pro due to this non-compatibility
Hi. I am new with all this. I am only using the default game capture HD software from elgato and everything seems fine except that there is a lag in my controller. Its very minor but its bothering me when playing call of duty. Please advise. What is the purpose of OBS?

I followed all your steps and I still can’t get gameplay audio on my stream. All u hear is static noise. I have the elgato chat link cable and all. Also on Streamlabs the NDI source doesn’t pop up. Do I need to download obs link cause I have the elgato HD 60 +
I gave followed every step on this video and I have everything downloaded and set up correctly. My issue is that when I choose the HD 60s in the game capture software, it just says "one moment please" and there is an error message that says I need at least one dedicated GPU. I have the 2019 MacBook pro and it should easily be compatible. what could be wrong?
Been trying to figure this out for hours. I’ve done everything. My OBS looks slightly different and I have a HD60s+ but still. I have no idea at this point What the problem is. I have the chat link cable hooked up and the sound is going to my headset but not through the elgato
This is seriously driving me insane. I have the m1 MacBook and it should not be this difficult to figure this out. I have the game capture elgato software and I’ve made those changes, the OBS link didn’t come up as downloadable when I chose HD60s + as my accessory and that’s one of the only differences
@@sonofkenna I don't really remember but I think I just cranked up the volume on the elgato software and it ended up coming through. Like turned up the volume on everything. Elgato, OBS, system... its almost like the sound was there just super quiet
Hey Beans, I had the same issue. I think what I did was streamed once after trying and the next day when I streamed the NDI plugin showed up. I think it takes so time for SLOBS to update so just reset your machine 2-3 times and see if it shows up. This is one of the issues I had the biggest trouble with but didn't get to capture in the video
@@EikoK I got it to work thankfully. If you have the chat link cord, plug it in and then open the game capture software and set up analog audio. Then you start up obs/stream labs And the audio should come through. It all has to do with game capture. I would close the software before opening obs but i found out they both need to be open in order for the capture card to work correctly.
I think you need a second monitor. Because you haven't the instant game view in OBS or Elgato GameCapture softare. HD60S S = Stream, that means the instant GameView
Guys listen if your computer does not have a 3.0 usb plug-in you CANNOT use this, a 2.0 doesn’t let it work so therefore you will have to buy another computer with a 3.0 port it’s a blue color because an adapter won’t fix it.
dude please help me. I got it all hooked up but screen on my game capture is all blurry and static and there are a bunch of issues under where it says Elgato game capture. I have a quad core i7 in my macbook pro. What is the issue? I have no idea.
Hi Scufed! If you are trying to use it through a screen capture on Streamlabs it will be very choppy. Are you using NDI Source on Streamlabs which pulls OBS link?
@@CobraC_yt not sure, I know for a fact that i have it as an NDI source on OBS link. I dont know if that helps answer your question. I can see my PS4 screen on OBS but when I pull it up on Game Capture HD t is all static and makes a high pitched noise.
@@TheDuerr236 High pitched noise happen if you are charging you're controller while having the chat link connected. Laggy video on Game Capture may be because you' might be pushing too high of settings. Try 720p 30 frames and see if that works.
@@CobraC_yt I tried but it still shows up as a green screen. I do not have a chat link connected. It says the elgato is receiving fewer frames than expected. It also mentions a dedicated GPU but I am not sure what that means. ??
@@TheDuerr236 yeah I had same issues, just not the green screen. Try resetting you computer, unplug and plug back in the elgato. Then try it another time.
