Zecro67 they never will as some things are for legal reasons and also you can force people to buy higher trims for specific features.

@@FishFind3000 I am not suggesting allowing the owner to turn off the seatbelt minder or disable safety features but the number of turn signal blinks is a personal preference like the splash screen or allowing bambi mode is a no brainer.

@@Zecro67 well they have to leave something on the table for the next gen models. cant have everything now. ive found features in my 19 year old bmw from coding that made is way better. these features have been locked away for the longest time. its just us that need to be proactive and keep up. learning how to do these things makes your car extra special and you can provide this services to others.

@@Zecro67 Bambi mode is actually illegal. You can't have more than 2 sets of driving lights on at the same time.

My lights are only an option for Lariat trims on up. You can order aftermarket lights with halos. I have sync 3 stock so android and apple work on mine

@@AutoDad Morning! (Heard you were a 3rd-Shifter, God bless - that's definitely not the most fun ever. I work for a tire manufacturer down in TN.) - I have been looking at upgrading the headlights, so it's good to know that's the direction I need to take instead of wasting money. - I also have Sync 3 stock with my F-150, but it's running software v1.0 and there's a lot of back and forth on the internet about methods for getting the in-vehicle software updated to the newest version (v3.2 or v3.3, I believe). - Along with all that comes the debate about some Ford models needing an upgraded USB port in order to use Android/Apple Auto. Not really sure if that applies to me, but I do know that the dealer down here wants to charge me $120/hr for an update that's 100% free through Ford. Either way, I appreciate your feedback!

I know you can update it over the internet Wi-Fi that is and that's what I do. I tried to update versus a flash drive in the download would not work as a lot of people have an issue with. Other than that I would take it to the Ford dealership

It does not void the warranty. There is a save icon at the bottom of the program that allows you to save the file prior to making changes

No, nothing in the ECU can be changed via Forscan besides for clearing DTCs

The lights are powered by a switch in the bed and on the dash. Nothing needs to be programmed

Wheel size does not change the speedometer only tire size changes. If your overall tire diameter is the same you're fine and no adjustments are needed

@@AutoDad the tire plus wheel of the 18" is smaller than the 20" wheel plus tire so yes the total diameter is different and my speedometer changed about 2 mph

If you use a laptop, the software is free. Once you are registered you can post questions on the Forscan forums for people to answer. Pretty sure you can program/delete keys

Were you able to reset the myKey? I have the same issue

@@ep6543 , i had to get a second key, and then it let me erase the mykey on the other key

$105 for key online and $60 to get programmed by the dealer

You need to install the correct driver for your USB tool

@@AutoDad i have the oil temp and trans fluid temp i have one more gauge i believe oil pressure can you get a numeric valve over that gauge also probably would be in PSI

@@RedWingsninetyone stock white happened in 2018. Prior to this stock are amber. Only aftermarket "switch back" headlights change from amber to white.

Yours is the Lariat trim? Every single video I’ve found doesn’t do a decent job describing where exactly you need to tap into. I’ve got the wiring diagrams and have pulled the cluster for the driver side headlight but don’t know which I have to tap into. My truck is a ‘16 Lariat and the light cluster has 10-12 wires.

You need to find the spreadsheet for your vehicle and the drl settings that match your equipment group

Which feature? If you are speaking of ForScan then no. This program works on a lot of Fords in general

I have the light delay in my settings under vehicle

@@AutoDad I have it set at 20 sec. But it still turn off right away as soon as I lock the truck with the keyfob. Can't remember if it stayed on after locking before I did the forscan drl and Bambi mods?

That is strange. Mine stay on if my knob is in auto and I use the lock on my outside door handle (Lariat)

I just got to work and locked my truck with the fob and the lights stayed on for the 120 seconds that I have them set to. Not sure what went wrong on your end.

Yep, the 120 sec worked. But just seems to long, lol. Will make me think that I left my lights on? Especially, when people are around.. they will tell me "my lights are on". :)

@Robert Yagmourian I'm 100% sure it doesn't. Warranty only get looked at when you messing with something major like the engine. It's just a setting

Auto Dad ok. It works fine when key is on. I just want to keep auxiliary power on all the time via forscan. I don’t see a script for this in the spreadsheet

When key is off. To charge my phone. I think the PowerPoint code is just for the 12-120v plug

It saves the profile of each VIN so each vehicle will have its own profile. I use mine and my wife's Fusion

Once you have registered and accepted into the site you will be able to request a temporary license. I think it's good for 2 months. After that expires you can just request another license

It does. There is an iOS program as well, but it may cost something

iOS isn’t the same as MacOS. I use boot camp on my Mac (partitioned 50GB) to run Windows and haven’t had an issue using forscan.
