Yes, it works great with napkins! 😍 Please check out my other tutorial, you will love it: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-f3KTmpJhc7c.htmlsi=1pBPwbFttxxokTY7 Thanks for watching! 😊
Thank you so much, Suzanna! 😊 Noted! I am putting paper leather project ideas on my list! ✔Also, you may like this video - it shows how I make a junk journal out of faux leather: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PJL-VZfazrU.htmlsi=58MElCp55BaMRIjp
✨💖✨💖✨ This is an awesome technique and you are wonderful at making easy to follow along videos! Your instructions are very clear and easy to understand! Thank you so much! I can’t wait to try this and I want to recreate the tag, if you decide to make a video for that it would be wonderful! I love the the journal cover too! So excited I found your channel! 🤩💖✨💖✨💖✨
Thank you so much, Shannon! 🤗💖I am so glad you discovered my channel! Welcome! 🤗 I am very happy that you are enjoying my videos and I can’t wait to share more fun projects with you! 💖🤗 P. S. I’m putting the tag making video on my list! 😊💕
You are so welcome! Thank you for watching! Glad it was helpful! 😊 If you like faux leather, you will love my other tutorial on how to make faux leather out of a paper bag: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0BkNMr9MecQ.htmlsi=vntB8vMPOXLdMXgT Happy crafting! 🤗🌺
Hi Joanna! Thank you so much! Glad you are enjoying my videos! 🤗 You can iron fabric to freezer paper, BUT it will only provide a temporary adhesion, not permanent. This method works great if you need to print an image on fabric: you would cut a sheet of freezer paper in a regular printer size, then iron on your fabric, then place it into your printer and print anything you like on the fabric side. Then you peel the fabric off. Another fun project to try! 😉 Happy crafting, my friend! 🤗🌺
Such a great idea! I have freezer paper & shiny tissue paper. Just need the mod podge & I’ll be all set!!! Thank you for sharing! Can’t wait to try it😁
WOW This awesome video what a brilliant idea, have to give this a try. Thank you for Sharing this so appreciate!!! Hugs Liz x PS Could you put tissue paper also on the other side?
Thank you so much, Liz! 😊 So glad you liked it! You can only put tissue paper on one side, because only one side of freezer paper is plastic coated. Tissue paper won't stick to the other side, because there is no plastic to melt. Hope this helps! Happy crafting! 🤗🌺
I used to do this with just a few coats of mod podge on scrapbook paper for travel journal covers. And it worked, look like and felt like faux leather. But the only problem I had was it would crack in the “spine” area, after a while of use. Maybe the freezer paper will take care of that. I’m definitely going to try this.
Thank you, Rainn! If you are having trouble with cracked spines on your older journals, a quick and effective way to fix it is reinforcing the outer spine with a strip of fabric. It always works and looks beautiful 😊
That's great, Janice! I'm so glad you are excited to get started! I am actually working on the next freezer paper tutorial, which will come out Monday (most likely😅) Also, this video has a couple of freezer paper projects (not sure if you've seen it): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-v_ztMTS07Bc.htmlsi=oQferaSPO9dsdQxN Have a great rest of your weekend! 🤗🌺
I love the look of this after you inked it, really brought out the texture. Do you have a video on how you made those tags, they look really cute. I love watching your videos, you have such great ideas and give me inspiration to try new craft projects. Thank you for sharing 🙏🥰 God bless you
What a fantastic idea, so glad I found your channel, you were showing how to make small envelopes with cupcake liners, super cute. you are very talented.
Thank you for watching! I use thin layers of Mod Podge and allow the coats to dry completely before brushing on the next coat. If you have any stickiness after Mod Podge dries completely, you can dust it very lightly with makeup powder or even some baking soda. Happy crafting! 😊🌺
Miss Valeria, I like this idea. I did follow you when you made a faux leather with a paper bag, and I like that too. I will try this also, but I don't have freezer paper or tissue paper, but I will try this as soon as I go to the store to buy my materials. Thank you for sharing and God Bless. 🥰💖💯💯💯💯💯👍👍👍👍👍🐞🌹🦂🌵
Hi Ms. Rose Marie! 🤗 I’m so happy you like it! I have more freezer paper projects in the works, so I’m sure you will get some good use out of your new roll😉 Have a great weekend! 😊🌺🌿
Thank you so much! 😊 Glad you liked it! I prefer a glossy finish of Mod Podge, because I feel that it really helps to achieve a more realistic look of the leather. But structurally it makes no difference, so matte medium would work, if you don’t mind the look of it. Happy crafting! 🤗🌺
Thank you, Marie! I have a video covering my most popular freezer paper projects for those who don’t have freezer paper: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-u-ZIlFitjYk.htmlsi=vn7CSTbNPJPKjti0 Hope this helps! 🌺
Thank you! 😊 Glad you like this project! You could use brown Kraft paper (packing paper) and Mod Podge instead of freezer paper and an iron. Happy crafting! 🤗🌸
Just found your video. Im looking to make different papers by recycle or inexpensive methods to add to my new interest in crafting. I mainly sew. Thinking to make tags first. Maybe cards. You can use parchment paper on top to have the iron not stick then you can iron to edges. I do this to use fusible interfacing to small pieces of fabric. You can reuse the parts not all stuck up by cutting off edges until it gets too small to use.
Thank you so much for sharing your tips! I too have started using parchment paper to protect my iron. I have 3 more videos for various freezer paper projects. It may give you more creative ideas. I hope you enjoy! 😊
GREAT faux leather, I already plan on buying some supplies to make some crafts I have in mind to use the leather for, Thank you very much for the tutorial
Oh! My heart goes out to you and your family and your homeland I pray 🙏 for that injustice to be over. Thank you for your response. I'll be watching 😄😊
Thank you for watching! Tissue wrap dictates the color and you add a tint with distress ink. So technically you can make it any color as long as you have the right tissue and ink. Happy crafting!
Hey ! I wanna ask one thing pls does freezer paper absorb water ?? And if I put moisturise frozen product and keep in freezer does it stuck with paper pls ? It’s urgent

@@Aegopodium @2Pferde I also would like to know if you guys have Freezer Paper in Germany? I learned that Freezer Paper is not available in Canada. So I am actually working on an alternative method for these projects, without using Freezer Paper. Thank you for watching!
@@chasingpaper2022 If I come across anything like it, I will post it here. I have been trying to find it for ages, as it makes great stencils for textile painting. I don't have 10+€ for a roll if freezer paper 😢
