RGB or rgb case fans for the coolermaster masterbox or master box lite 5 rgb need a separate rgb header. If you are missing for do not have this header this is a fix solution video for you.

The 4-pin ports on the hub are standard 4-pin rgb ports? I'm using EK Vardar RGB fans, so those will work with this?

Wow your video just saved me a lot of time. Thank you for that. I have the inwin 101c RGB case and an ek x res RGB pump/res. My motherboard is an Asus z170 with no RGB headers on it. I'm going to grab the coolernaster control to hook them up now.

Is there any compatibility issue between one brand of RGB controller and an RGB device from another brand? Is it standardized industry wide? I saw some videos where the youtubers said they fried their controller or RGB device when connecting them from different brands. Also, does every brand use the same connector? My new Antec case has male RGB connectors and I see the RGB controller also has male connectors???

I just got this same case. Did this controller work? I read somewhere that the 12v rgb on the case would fry a controller because they are meant for 5v rgb only. I'm curious if you got your case up and running.

So If i buy the thermaltake 37 argb cases they come with two different headers one for the fans and one for the rgb lighting and the fans will plug into the regular fan pins on a motherboard and will spin and regulate but the lights just wont wokr

I have this case but the 3 rgb fans are all connected to a splitter that makes them all one but the connector is circle and my fan controller only has square pins. What should i do?

so the coolermaster rgb controller can connect to the usb header on the motherboard? and you can use the software to control the rgb? I assume they have to be Argb right?

I have Corsair Fans with RGB LEDs in them and they have a separate RBG cable 5v (4 pin female) along with separate 3-pin fan power cable. I have no RGB header in my mobo, how can I connect all my RGB fans and make sure their LEDs work as well ? Really need help.

Oh yea... CM RGB Controller is good but the MasterFan Pro RGB fans arent the best. Others experience awful sounds. Should i buy them or i buy other model CM RGB fans?

wouldn't the magnetic design damage ur pc? I was under the impression that magnetic features on your pc can damage it

I mean.... common sense would suggest you would keep it away from parts susceptible to such damage. I would think that the magnets used are quite weak as it only needs to support its own weight.

Without the header, you cannot control the lighting.Some fans allow you to manually(buttons or a switch located on the fan)change to individual colours.
